There’s something I love about checking into a beautiful hotel in your own city… everything feels a little slower, and the everyday can wait. A little overwhelmed, a lot proud. 🤍

The Grand Talent Audition for New Delhi Marriott Marquis and The St. Regis New Delhi was something else- the scale, the energy, and so many people excited to be part of what’s coming.

A first glimpse of our world, even before the doors open envisioned by our super cool HR folks. Watching it come to life and getting to play a part in that introduction felt pretty special.

Just two months in, and so grateful to be part of a team that people aspire to join. It all feels a little more real—and a lot more exciting. ✨ by @prernadaga

📍Dramique: One of those evenings that had just the right mix of good cocktails, beautiful plates, great company and a whole lot of artistic drama in the air. ✨🥂

I dressed up and let the evening do the rest. Opulencia unfolded between courses—live sax, sweeping choreography and a spectacular finale, all wrapped in Parisian vintage glamour with a touch of Moulin Rouge after dark.

Dramatic, decadent and entirely my kind of evening. Catch me in the mood in the second-last slide. 🎭✨

A seven-hour salon day, one complete hair transformation and, naturally, a story to tell 🤷‍♀️🤎

This one unfolded at @rsjusthairsalon R’s Just Hair Salon, hairdresser Ruchi Sawhney’s quaint little space tucked away in Nirvana Country—warm, personal and far removed from the usual salon chaos. Ruchi came recommended by Mansi—a colleague whose taste I trust implicitly and who takes her hair every bit as seriously as I do—so I knew this was a recommendation worth following. (Thank you @mansimehta0906 - live saver that you are!)

I had officially outlived my red era and wanted a rich brunette—deep and cool, but not black; dimensional, but not overly done. Not a lot of salons in Gurgaon do a great job with darker hair colours. The resident stylist Jameel, @jameelhairart who is genuinely a bit of a hair magician, understood the very specific: a deep, cool-dark brown not black global colour with warm mocha-chocolate highlights for dimension.

The entire process took almost eight very careful hours, beginning with MK Professional’s Majestic Hair Botox—something very few Gurgaon salons use but is a must must for people who swear by protein treatments. It stripped away my old colour and briefly made my soul leave my body—but even at that in-between stage, my hair felt unbelievably soft and glossy.

Then came the Schwarzkopf Professional colour. Nothing felt hurried or mechanical; Jameel took his time with every stage blending until the colour sat exactly where it should.

I am genuinely obsessed with my hair, very particular and rarely experiment with salons, so recommendations from me are rare. This one is heartfelt: safe to say, Ruchi has created a very special little salon, and both her and her hairstylist Jameel are completely worth trusting! They listen to you, make you feel looked after and take your hair as seriously as you do!

Rakhi has traditionally told us who protects whom. This morning reminded me that care doesn’t always wait for roles.

I chose to celebrate Rakhi this year with the children at Yatan, an NGO I visit quite often. We made rakhis, ate copious amounts of homemade laddoos and laughed our hearts out. Their little hands worked earnestly with thread and colour; their eyes—curious, trusting and completely unguarded—made me pause more than once.

Somewhere in those few unfiltered hours, the meaning of protection felt wider—not tied to a brother, a sister, age or gender, but found in care, dignity and the simple act of being there.

Two years of us. Not the polished, perfect kind. The real kind- sleepy faces, bad moods, the hangry me, your stupid jokes, silly fights, hard days, big dreams and a thousand ordinary moments that somehow became my favourite part of life.

You’ve seen every version of me -the soft one, the stubborn one, the scared one and the impossible one…and somehow, you’ve held them all gently. Even the version that takes 10,000 selfies, 20,000 videos, 30000 pictures of the food that eventually becomes cold and then says, “Wait, just one more.” Only you could put up with her and still agree to forever. If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is. 😂

You’re still the first person I want to tell everything to, the hand I reach for without thinking and the face that makes any place feel like home.

One day, when we’re much older, I know I’ll miss this exact version of us; still figuring life out, laughing at absolutely nothing, annoying each other, making plans and quietly building a life together in between all the ordinary days.

In this huge, noisy world, I still can’t believe two people as poles apart as us found each other and chose to walk through life together.

Spending time at this incredible NGO- Yatan in Carterpuri Village, Gurgaon with these rockstar kids & the wonderful people behind it, has been such a privilege over the last couple of months.

A few chatty Sunday mornings and three visits later, these shy little cuties finally agreed to a picture.

Somewhere between lessons, innocent questions, laughter and fearless dance moves, none of us remembered who was meant to be teaching whom.

I went hoping to give a little but walked away carrying far more. One of the happiest mornings I’ve had in a while. Gratitude and only gratitude 🙏🏻🤍🥹 by @prernadaga
