The movement would empower a lot of people from disadvantaged backgrounds and promote excellence in Architecture. There’s a lot of unseen talent that is giving up on life because of the circumstances around them, but we’re here to bring hope. #TOAF #TheOvatArchitectureFoundation by @preshy_bone

🌟 Meet the JEDI team! 🌟

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing the wonderful team behind our online series, the JEDI Talks: Just Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Each member brings their own unique experiences, perspectives and passions to the team. Through this series, we’ll be sharing a little more about who they are, what they do, and what inspires their involvement in JEDI.

First up: Precious Ovat! 👋

The JEDI talks (Just Equity, Diversity & Inclusion) are hosted by RIBA North East Region and supported by a team of architects from across the UK. The series has become a popular platform for discussion on themes and recent events, varying from flexible working, impact of the pandemic, racism v. inclusion, neurodiverse-friendly architecture, and Labour's pledge to build 1.5m homes. by @preshy_bone

Achalugo I knew that I would marry you.

From the first day our paths crossed, I knew that you were the one for me. Our love has been tested, for we have been through thick and thin, but like a fine metal we have been refined through the fire. I have chosen you today and I want you always and forever. Thank you for believing in me, supporting me, and choosing me too. You’ve taken my breath away and I love you forever.

It’s an honour to present my lecture to the Egyptian society of landscape architects tonight. This lecture focuses on critical issues affecting the African nation and proffers sustainable solutions that the government and professionals can utilise in measuring and managing the crisis.

This is a part of my contribution towards advancing the profession and I believe the lecture contains strong educational value, so please join us today and gain some insight about Egyptian landscapes and you may gain knowledge that’s transferable to your nation’s landscape. Cheers! taken in Cairo, Egypt by @preshy_bone
