𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦 － 𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 － 𝘓𝘰𝘴𝘴 explores the concept of impermanence through a collection of biofabrications and archived memories. After experiencing many losses in my personal life, I reflect on the intricacies of life's fragility and contemplate the inevitable passage of time and the profound impact of loss on the human experience. Through biomaterial explorations, I navigate the depths of impermanence, seeking to prolong the existence of ephemeral entities and confront the transience of being. Life represents the present. Loss represents what is no longer with us. But love exists in both of these two planes of existence. The creations within this collection is a testament to the beauty found within fragility and decay, inviting reflection on the cyclical nature of life and the universal truth that all things must eventually fade.

I wanted to tackle the issues in the food and fashion industries through sustainable design by using food waste to create alternative textiles. Over the past year, I accumulated the food waste I consumed and experimented with bananas, coffee grounds , mandarins, and mycelium mushroom to create a collection of biofabrications, from biotextiles, to decor, to furniture.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me for the past 5 years. My family, friends, professors, peers, and collaborators 🩷

Thank you
