Hii! I’m Marie-Pierre—call me MP!
 Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of doing a little shoot with the insanely talented @irismoorephoto and it got me thinking it might be time to reintroduce myself around here!

So here goes: I’ve spent the last 20+ years doing what I love—running my salon, @studiomphairmakeup, and glamming up countless brides, besties, and beauty-lovers along the way.

Somewhere along that journey, I fell head over heels for another form of art: preserving wedding bouquets. 💐
Pressed Bloom was born from one too many conversations with heartbroken brides who had to leave their flowers behind in Key West. I kept thinking… there has to be a way to keep that beauty alive. And just like that, a new creative chapter began—one filled with petals, patience, and some serious flower magic.

Now I get to blend beauty and memory, one bloom at a time. And honestly? I’ve never felt more inspired.

Merilin messaged me the day after her wedding asking if it was too late to get her bouquet preserved and include her invitation in the design. It’s never too late!

Her florals were stunning, but so were her envelopes and invites—every detail was thoughtfully chosen and just too pretty not to include. It all came together so beautifully.😍

WOW. WOW. WOW. 🤩 Can we take a moment for those purple orchids?💜

Elena’s bouquet is also the perfect example of why frame size matters.
Large cascading bouquets need room to breathe. Tropical flowers press much larger than traditional blooms, and choosing a frame that’s too small means sacrificing the bouquet’s movement, and overall impact.
For this style of bouquets I recommend a 16×20 at minimum, with an 18×24 being ideal to truly showcase its beauty.

One thing you can always count on: if I receive your bouquet and feel it would be better suited to a larger frame than you originally selected, I’ll always reach out before I begin designing. I want your preserved bouquet to be every bit as breathtaking as it was on your wedding day. 🤍

One of the saddest messages I receive is:
"I wish I had known about bouquet preservation when I got married. "🤍

The dress gets cleaned.
The photos get printed.
The rings stay on your finger.

But somehow, the bouquet—the flowers you carefully chose and carried down the aisle—is often thrown away just days later.

That’s why I do what I do.

Not because I preserve flowers, but because I preserve memories. Every frame I create is meant to transport you back to the joy, the excitement, and the love you felt on your wedding day.

I’ve never had a bride tell me she regretted preserving her bouquet.
But I’ve heard countless women say they regret not doing it.🥺

Taylor’s bouquet was the perfect mix of tropical blooms and gorgeous peonies... and she knew exactly what she wanted. 🤍🌸

After I sent her the mock-up of her preservation design, she loved it so much that she immediately added a petite frame to her order.

Together, we made a few small tweaks until everything felt just right, and the end result couldn’t have been more perfect.

One of the things I love most about this process is collaborating with my brides. Every design is custom, and every client gets to approve their layout before the flowers are permanently placed.

Because creating a beautiful piece is important... but creating something that makes my brides genuinely happy is what matters most.🥹

I swear this trend was made for flower preservation artists. 😂

I convince brides to hand over the most sentimental flowers they’ll ever own, dismantle them petal by petal, dry them for months, and somehow I always end up with 5-star reviews.🤭
