#pressplay▶️: #ppmUpdates. #2Chainz is addressing the backlash following his appearance on #KirkFranklin’s Den of Kings podcast alongside food reviewer #KeithLee.

During the conversation, the Atlanta rapper confronted Lee about a negative review of his Esco Restaurant & Tapas, only for it to come out that Lee never reviewed the spot (it was actually Mr. Chimetime).

The discussion then shifted into a heated debate about celebrity privilege and special treatment, with 2 Chainz saying he’s earned perks like skipping lines because he’s “worked [his] ass off.”

Clips of the exchange quickly went viral, with many fans calling the comments entitled. On Tuesday, 2 Chainz took to X to clear the air, writing:

“I got a chance to speak to Keith after the podcast and it was all love. I know my words offended some people and I apologize for that. What I said and what I meant were two different things. I could’ve done a better job getting my point across.”

He signed the statement “Toni.”

#pressplay▶️: #2Chainz sat down with #KeithLee on #KirkFranklin’s #DenofKings and addressed the negative review of his Esco Restaurant & Tapas spot.

The rapper acknowledged it was Lee’s opinion but pushed back, defending celebrity treatment. He told Lee: “I’m an entertainer and obviously we get perks that other people don’t get. I don’t stand in line at the airport… because I done worked my a** off to do this.”

Keith Lee held firm that his reviews are for everyday customers, not the VIP treatment celebrities get once they’re recognized. He sends family members in first to test the real service so people aren’t misled when they spend their money.

#pressplay▶️: 15-year-old #JavitsFrimpong, who moved from Ghana to the #Bronx a year ago, was fatally sh*t Thursday morning near East 171st Street and Third Avenue while walking to DreamYard Preparatory School.

Surveillance showed him running as a person in all black chased him. He was hit once in the stomach, ran about a block, then collapsed and later d*ed at St. Barnabas Hospital.

His father, Thomas Frimpong, says Javits was a quiet kid. Days earlier the principal reported two classmates suspended for bullying him; school staff told the dad Javits was defending himself. The father believes the sh**ting was retaliation.

Police are seeking three teens (about 16–18) in black clothing and blue surgical masks. No arrests; motive unconfirmed.

#CardiB addressed it on Instagram Live, condemning the k*llers and criticizing severe bullying in NYC.

Comedian #MichaelBlackson (on Instagram) shared how he related as a teen: he was the only African at his school and got bullied daily by kids of all races. He said looking at Javits brought tears because the boy looked like him at that age and was going through the same thing. He also recalled being bullied as a new immigrant in Newark, NJ, and said this has to stop.

Got tips on the suspects? Call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.

In statements he told outlets, “People hear OnlyF@ns and automatically think one thing, but I’m not here to tell you what you will or won’t see. I’ve lived a pretty wild life, and trust me, there are still a few surprises left… nothing’s off the table.”

#pressplay▶️: During a recent appearance on The Jason Lee Show, spiritual adviser and former “Iyanla: Fix My Life” host #IyanlaVanzant offered a direct apology to R. Kelly, who is currently serving a combined 31-year federal prison sentence.

“Forgive me as an elder in our community not being available to support you. Forgive me for ignoring your pain. Forgive me for abandoning you,” she said. She then broadened the statement:

“Our entire community abandoned him. As an elder, I’m going to own it. We did. We abandoned him.”
