Definitely a bit of an ego bench, but I’m proud of this nonetheless. Huge thanks to my friends and family for all the support these past few months - you know who you are. Done with touch n go for a while, time to do a meet. LFG. by @presstott

I did not sleep at all last night due to nerves, literally 0 hours 0 minutes. A straight all nighter. I was facing some serious self doubt coming in because of this, and I was complaining to @johndom110kg over the phone.

I told him “I didn’t sleep at all last night and I’m worried about how today is going to go.”

He responded, “David, if you keep telling people that, you’ve already lost.”

That was that wake up call I needed, and I locked tf in.

Took 175/386 on my second which felt heavy, and thought 402 wasn’t there, so I opted for this. Turns out I maybe had 402 anyway. 22 lb meet PR and biggest bench at the meet of about 40 lifters.

Out of lifters in my weight class this year, I this bench is top 150 or so in the nation, which isn’t bad out of thousands of lifters. I’ll hit double digits soon enough.

Onto the next one. by @presstott

Took a solo trip to FL to enjoy some warm weather before braving the NYC winter. Didn’t have a photographer so I took this pic with my front camera on timer. Ok bye. taken in Celebration, Florida by @presstott
