2025, THUS FAR, has really been a year!
Unfortunately, for this community including my family, today is the first Thanksgiving spent without a loved one. Some loss at the beginning of the year, some mid year, and others here recently… 😢 I’d like to take this moment to extend my condolences as well as prayers to ALL of the bereaved families. Revelations 21:4 “He will wipe every tear away…” Secondly, on a more positive note, to name a few of the good things I’m thankful for this year!! I was selected Best Barber in Panola County, my daughter took some time off from the military and flew in SAFLEY from and back to England on a 13 hr flight🙌🏾 my son made Superintendent’s list, I witnessed a lot of people, including myself, not only just find love, but marry their homie, lover, and friend!! Proverbs 18:22 “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord!!” And lastly, but
definitely not least, Happy Thanksgiving but for me it’s also a birthday celebration!!

All day I’v stumbled over the words of how I’d acknowledge you today.. and just as my days are at times without you, Iv come up empty. We’ve laughed, we’ve talked, and cried fluently throughout the day…just as we did when you were here.. Ma, I could write a book but you were never big on attention or celebratory and besides, you’re making this hard to finish typing “guh!!” 😭😭 So in short, Happy Heavenly Birthday. I miss you more than you could EVER imagine. 🥺😢💔

I log into Facebook to say thanks and the first 2 stories I see are pics of our brother and our sweet dear mother…Taken from us weeks apart…😢 Lord knows I miss you both But God, we know you’re able.. just want to thank each and every one of you for the calls, texts, visits, cards, prayers and any other acts of kindness you showed us.
