Jewel City, right on the edge of Maboneng where art, music, and street culture collide. @prettyboislick_za stepped through the space wearing the Yuck Fou head piece, with the SV Hat & Saints Club tee by @designedbythesaints, representing a community of brands that continue to grow from the streets of Johannesburg. The tee is cut from 200gsm cotton, giving it that perfect balance between durability and comfort. It sits structured on the body while still being breathable enough for long days moving through the city. The clean white base keeps the look minimal, allowing the chest graphic to speak for itself. The bold “Saints Club” script sits at the centre of the design, surrounded by subtle text that represents the collective behind the brand. The back of the tee has a graphic red kiss on a portrait of a model wearing the original SV Hat. Saint Ventura isn’t just a clothing label — it’s a creative collective. The designers behind Saint Ventura call themselves the Saints, a group of creators building ideas, identity and culture through clothing. Every piece they release carries a bit of Johannesburg energy in it. From concept to production, the garments are made in Maboneng, Johannesburg, keeping the process rooted in the same streets that inspire the designs. Slick pairs the tee with a black Saint Ventura trucker cap, adding that classic streetwear silhouette to the fit. The mesh back and structured front keep it clean while reinforcing the Saint Ventura aesthetic. Wrapped around Slick’s head is a piece from Yuck Fou, worn while he was setting up a Yuck Fou pop-up in Jewel City, right next to Maboneng. Moments like this capture what Johannesburg streetwear is about: independent brands, creators, and communities building culture together in the same spaces.
