Welcome to the Pretty Boy Clubhouse on Irving Place.

Per the previous inhabitant of my latest space, Elsie de Wolfe famously felt that dining rooms were the “most useless” room and believed in “livable luxury” as we do at Paul J. Miller Interiors.

Moving into her dining room, I wanted to make use of each special detail and corner to turn what was once the entertaining space for the likes of Cole Porter, the Duke of Windsor, Anne Morgan and Caroline King Duer, into a Clubhouse space fit for my work in Interior Design, creative space, place to rest and of course a place to dance.

Taking inspiration from Hotel Costes, Karl Lagerfeld’s a portrait of Dorian Grey, and my paternal grandmother’s sitting room - we wanted the space to feel like a ball of fire generating energy, warmth and desire.
