All Well opened in Chicago last year, a new concept from the team behind the two Michelin-starred Oriole and 16 on Center (Longman & Eagle, Moneygun, the Empty Bottle and many others.) A West Loop neighborhood joint with a fine-dining pedigree, All Well brings world-class technique to a casual setting. The Chicago Tribune has called it “chef-driven cooking at its finest.” Our homie Maxx Kleiner leads a bar program and team there that provides outstanding hospitality and service but with an irreverent, playful sense of humor that’s incredibly engaging. We’re honored and flattered to have Maxx and Chef Larry Feldmeier hanging out with us for a night.

A couple years ago we spent an afternoon wandering around the Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City. We came across a cute little shop with a cute little shop dog (slide 2) and were captivated by the products they sold.

For All Folks was founded by María López Blanco. She struggled with acne and sensitive skin, and came to learn about the benefits of calendula, a marigold that affects inflammation and skin-barrier recovery. That led her to launching For All Folks, a line of soaps, candles and other product that all contain calendula. It’s good for you and it smells divine.

Pretty Decent is one of very few bars in the US to now carry For All Folks in our restrooms and we are privileged to be one of just a handful of retailers to sell their product in our shop. by @prettydecentbar
