Abuse in Friendships are not often addressed and are harder to be recognized if you’re not careful. Your attachment to that friend becomes dangerous as you lose a sense of yourself, power, and identity. Your vulnerability is on the palm of their hand, any given moment could be tampered with by the person you trust. This abusive pattern runs deeper than physical abuse as it is easier when you’re blind.

I am responsible for the healing I need from the trauma that was caused by someone else. My personal experience in dealing with a narcissist for a friend was deep rooted and deeply personal to where it made me isolate from others. That friendship ran its course after 182 tries.

When you love and support someone so much to keep them in your life, it doesn’t mean they will treat you the same. Rethink the friends you have if they show these signs.
