Some of you should’ve known this coming but I am no longer a fan of You and Idol/Kimi to Idol Precure. Now I will say I rewatched it again and it made me change my obvious opinion on it. First of all, comparing the villains from other Precure series to this one, you and idol honestly has weeker villains. I get the first half was kind of okay but it all fell apart in the second half. Most of the episodes mostly focused on Uta Sakura and not the others that much. Which lacked the other characters like Nana and Kokoro making them sidelined. Another thing that bothered me when rewatching was what even was the plot anyway for this show? Saving the fairy land known as Kirakiland or was it something else involving the idols fighting route? Overall very confusing plot, I will say I still love the character designs and background artwork since it’s very fitting for this series and Precure itself. That goes to my next point, I’m not a fan of the music in this show. Background music was alright it’s good but some of the main songs I don’t like or not a fan of. The song for the movie is one Hibiki Au Uta wasn’t my favorite at all, the other song I’m not a fan of is Live a special day due to it being way too much. Darkine the main villain at the end doesn’t even blink at all with her eyes she wasn’t that great too. Cure Connect was only a one time cure which tbh came out of nowhere yet I knew it was going to happen when I saw the preview at the time last year. All the other things were just all over the place, I can go on but at this point I rather watch Star Detective or Soaring sky when it comes to this. #precure #mythoughts #youandidolprecure #animereview #kimitoidolprecure by @prettymoonchibi07
