Some of us were never meant to have ā€œnormalā€ hobbies.

We were the kids who always had to be making something, creating something, dreaming up the next idea. That creativity eventually became jewelry...and for me, it became a 17-year journey I’ll always be grateful for.

If you’ve ever felt like making jewelry is more than a hobby…like it’s part of who you are, I think you’ve found your people here.

I just sent another email to my Jewelry Business Playbook waitlist sharing why I decided to create this course after closing my jewelry business. I also dropped some new details about the upcoming launch date on July 30th.

If you’re not on the waitlist yet, comment MASTERCLASS and I’ll send you a DM with the link to join. by @prettyperfectstyle_

I went down a rabbit hole reading Reddit posts from jewelry designers who feel stuck… and I noticed something.

Almost none of their questions were about how to actually make jewelry.

They already know how to make beautiful things, but what no one taught them is the business: pricing, marketing, launches, inventory, cash flow, and actually finding customers who come back and buy again.

That’s the part I had to learn the hard way over 17 years (and more than a few expensive mistakes).

Swipe through, you might recognize a few of these questions. Then tell me in the comments: Which one is most relatable?

I’m opened the waitlist for The Jewelry Business Playbook this month…my step-by-step masterclass for the business side of jewelry that’s launching July 30th. You don’t want to miss this!

Jewelry designers—the Jewelry Business Playbook launches July 30! šŸ’Ž

Comment MASTERCLASS and I’ll add you to the waitlist.

I’ve been a jewelry designer for 17 years, and I’ve been through it all—the high highs (3 Nordstrom pop-up shops, $1,000+ in sales per hour at vendor events) and the low lows (my first jewelry business barely making any money and putting business expenses on a credit card just to keep going).

Through all of it, I’ve learned what actually works—and now I’m sharing it with you.

I just finished recording my 4-part Jewelry Business Playbook, where I’m breaking down exactly how to build a successful jewelry brand, avoid expensive mistakes, and create multiple streams of income.

Here’s everything you’ll learn:

šŸ’Ž Building the foundation
ā–Ŗļøchoosing your Nice
ā–Ŗļø pricing your jewelry
ā–ŖļøShopify vs. Etsy
ā–Ŗļø suppliers & materials

šŸ’Ž Getting the sale
ā–Ŗļøsocial media
ā–Ŗļølaunches
ā–Ŗļø email marketing
ā–Ŗļø sales & discounts

šŸ’Ž Multiple revenue streams
ā–Ŗļøvendor events
ā–Ŗļøwholesale
ā–Ŗļøjewelry parties
ā–Ŗļøpop up shops

šŸ’Ž Avoiding expensive mistakes
ā–Ŗļøinventory mistakes
ā–Ŗļø cash flow mistakes
ā–Ŗļøbiggest lessons learned

Soooo mark your calendars for July 30 & make sure you’re on the waitlist! Email subscribers will get access to initial discounted prices. Comment MASTERCLASS & I’ll DM you the info! by @prettyperfectstyle_

Let’s clear something up…

Do I think you should invest in a professional logo? Absolutely.

But here’s what I don’t think…

I don’t think you should sit on the sidelines for months waiting until every little detail is ā€œperfectā€ before you launch.

When I started my jewelry business, I fully intended to have a logo professionally designed. But once I launched, things started moving FAST. I was busy making jewelry, packing orders, posting on social media, answering customers, and taking advantage of opportunities that came my way.

Before I knew it, I was making sales, getting featured in the press, and even landed a Nordstrom pop-up… all without the ā€œperfectā€ branding I thought I needed.

Could my logo have been better? Yep.

Did it stop customers from buying? Nope.

The biggest mistake I see new jewelry designers make is spending weeks (or months) perfecting the things that don’t actually make them money, while putting off the things that do.

Your priority shouldn’t be having the prettiest logo.
Your priority should be:
✨ Creating great jewelry.
✨ Getting your products in front of people.
✨ Learning how to market.
✨ Making sales (while being legal as a business of course).

You can always improve your branding later. It’s much harder to improve a business that never got off the ground.

If you need help with the business side of your jewelry business, comment MASTERCLASS and I’ll send you the details for my upcoming Jewelry Business Masterclass. šŸ’› by @prettyperfectstyle_

Today is the last day my Pretty Perfect Style online store will be open.

As I was putting this carousel together, I expected to feel sad. Instead, I felt something I wasn’t expecting... grateful.

This little business gave me so much more than beautiful jewelry to create.

It gave me confidence.
It gave me purpose.
It gave me lifelong friendships.
It challenged me, stretched me, and taught me lessons I’ll carry with me forever.

During the pandemic, when so many of us were struggling, Pretty Perfect Style gave me something to pour my heart into. It grounded me during one of the hardest seasons of my life, and for that, I’ll always be thankful.

I’ll miss dreaming up new collections, photographing each piece, packing orders, and seeing your photos wearing my designs. Those moments meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

But I also know this...

The most valuable thing I’ve built isn’t the jewelry.

It’s everything I learned along the way.

Over the years, so many jewelry designers have asked me how I built my business, found suppliers, priced my pieces, got into Nordstrom, chose Shopify, and actually made consistent sales.

So instead of letting those lessons end here, I’ve decided to pass them on.

I’m so excited to share that I’ve already started recording The Jewelry Business Playbook, and it officially launches this month. Honestly, it’s been so much fun reliving these last 17 years while putting everything I’ve learned into one place.

If you’re a jewelry designer (or know someone who is), comment ā€œMASTERCLASSā€ below, and I’ll send you all the details to join the waitlist.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting Pretty Perfect Style. You helped turn a dream into a journey that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

Here’s to the next chapter. ā¤ļø by @prettyperfectstyle_

Reminiscing on Pretty Perfect Style as I’m counting down the days of closing.

I love my @uspostalservice ladies! When I first started shipping orders they were so helpful!

Sometimes it’s the unexpected things that make a huge difference & take some of the load off as a small business owner.

I have about 30 jewelry pieces still left to shop at the link in bio, most are 3 for $100 no code needed! by @prettyperfectstyle_
