This week we sat down with David Myers, who manages Peak Cellars and O’Rourke Estate Winery.

The wines are 100% estate-grown right here in Lake Country and their Riesling actually took gold at the LA International Wine Competition.

Food-wise: start with the stracciatella salad, then order the burger. David says it’s the best in the Okanagan. We’re not going to argue.

Cozy living at The Place on Pretty Road 🌸 Airbnb in Lake Country, BC 🇨🇦 @prettypropertyco

This gem is only 25 minutes from Kelowna and 20 minutes from Vernon which means guests have access to so many great Okanagan adventures.

We loved starting our mornings under the covered porch area and enjoyed our coffee with views of Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake.

It was close to everything including wineries, restaurants, beaches and hiking trails. We visited @graymonkwinery for the first time and grabbed a delicious bottle of rose to enjoy at Pebble Beach.

The Okanagan Rail Trail is just minutes away and we took a nice ride along the water. We also rode to gorgeous Kaloya Regional Park.

Another must see attraction that we hit was the incredible Oyama Lookout where you get panoramic views of Oyama and the two lakes.

Our last day was a bit gloomy so we decided on a hike at Spion Kop Trails where we did the Raptor Loop and took in amazing views from Ghoulie’s Lookout.
