Scrolling by this post you may think it’s just about a bag, but it’s soooo much deeper than that but now that I got your attention let’s just start here!! Last month when I celebrated my own birthday I got one of the most thoughtful gifts anyone has everrrr got for me. The same literal bag I had posted on my Instagram story more than a year prior with a simple Yes please laid before my eyes in all its glory.. now I don’t be asking for much but that bag was just heaven to my eyes. Little did I know that my request was dutifully pursued and materialized without me knowing and a year in the making until my surprise I opened a gift box from @x800bae and there it was even more beautiful than in the post. Joy soon turned into a frantic search of my own knowing a month later her birthday was coming on mines heels.. what does one even get a friend that not only has always been there for you through thick and thin from day 1 , never judged you or let you down has literally been solid af but on top of that they went on a year long mission to get you a gift as thoughtful as this!! My searches were fruitless nothing compared finally a week was left and I was stumped until one night just following my heart I picked up a crochet hook and pink yarn and literally winged a project I have never ever made before and poured my heart into making a bucket hat from scratch because I knew that’s something she loved ( swipe to last slide to see result) I was nervous af it wouldn’t fit but of course it fit perfect because Ally you are just perfect and beautiful in every way imaginable and I love you so much! I’m grateful to be in your life and call you my close friend, confidant, roll dog, bestie , sister you have always showed me and my kids and family so much love I can’t imagine life without you by my side I pray we are connected through this whole life and everyone there after !!
