New year, same me! But just in case you're new here, here's a little introduction:

Hi! I’m Stacey, the maker at Pretty Stoked Jewellery.

I’m a 30-something bi woman from Derby, UK. I’m a big believer that what you wear can have an impact on your mood, which is why I make joyful jewellery designed to make you smile!

Why STOKED? Well, it’s a play on words with my surname (Stokes) and the word stoked which means excited, happy, and joyful - all emotions I’d like to share through my creations.

This is something I do alongside my full-time job in mental health. From my professional experience and my own mental heath challenges I know how important it is to hold on to the things that make you happy, and that’s what makes Pretty Stoked so important to me. Not only does it give me happiness, but it allows me to share that happiness with others.

Meet the Skeletons ✨💀

Part of my Pastelween jewellery collection, these skeleton dangle earrings and skull stud earrings are available in pastel tones of pink, blue and purple!

Honestly, the skeleton dangles with their cute coordinated rose beads are one of my favourite designs of this collection. I chose a blue pair for myself, but if I could I would have all three colours 😅

Come and have a nosey at what you bought on Etsy this week!

Stud earrings were super popular this week, and I was surprised to see Christmas jewellery sales have started to come in steadily already (I'm definitely an "after Halloween" girly myself!)

I had a 3-way tie for bestseller between reindeer studs, penguins studs, and gingerbread studs!

✨October Goals✨

I'm a little late sharing these, but this is what I'm hoping to achieve this month!

1. 35 Etsy orders. September was my best month EVER on Etsy with 31 orders across the month. In October I'm hoping we can increase that a little, so I've set a target of 35.

2. My goal is to be in 5 shops by the end of the year. My tenancy at Knottinger is ending on 18th October, so I've lined up another shop which is launching on 24th October. Watch this space 👀

3. I need to get my finger out and sort out this landing page! It's something that is within my ability, but I don't enjoy it, so it keeps being put off. I'm going to set aside a couple of days to just get it done. taken in Derby by @prettystokeduk

Where to wear your Pastelween jewellery - witchy movie night edition!

I went to the cinema to watch Practical Magic 2 and thought the skeletons were a great nod to the first movie where the bad guy is buried under the rose bush. (Should I have given a spoiler warning for a 30 year old movie?)

I chose the rest of my outfit to fit a witchy vibe too, choosing an embroidered green jumper and black boots to compliment my statement beetle skirt!

✨ What you bought this week ✨

Fruity jewellery is still going strong over on my Etsy shop, but you're definitely starting to feel the spooky season vibe! Poison Apple Earrings were my best-seller this week - I'm actually discontinuing this design and now only have 1 pair left, so snap them up while you can! Also love to see the glow in the dark witch fingers getting some love, I'm a big fan of 90s Halloween!
