💸 TO ALL THE KILLAZ AND THE 100 DOLLA BILLAZ 💸. @joe.uncool - CERAMICS

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Took a wheel class for the first time on Saturday at a different studio than the one I usually work out of.

I was absolutely defeated and hated it. Using my hands in ways I’ve never used them, paying attention to full body mechanics and to the clay you are trying to mold is a lot…

After work on Wednesday - I went to my home studio and practiced the wheel before all the regular wheel workers came in… I ended up with this

After a two part YouTube short on how to pull walls - and 2LBs of clay later. On my last LB and a half of clay I built a “ bowl “

My forearms hurt, I was covered in clay ( more than usual ) but, nonetheless I was proud.

I love my perfectly imperfect “ bowl “ and I love ceramics. 🤪 taken in San Francisco, California by @prettywhenquiet

I don’t have a ruler ( yet ) + I need to build a lil magnetic angular wall easel. Picked a quick word that’s been on my mind lately.. I watched a video on hand painted grocery store signs today and thought about how funny it was that the old school journeyman was adamant on no shadows being used because it wasn’t part of the culture. It made me ponder if sign painters and grocery sign painters had beef… cool contrast of worlds by @prettywhenquiet
