Ugh… where do I even start? 🥺🤍 It’s officially been 8 years of us, and I’ve been crying since you left for work this morning because somehow, after all this time, I still don’t have the words to explain just how much I love you. We were JUST kidsssss, Constantly on the phone the second we were apart, always planning when we’d see each other next, going from your mom’s house to my grandma’s because neither of us could stand being away from the other for too long. And now we have a home, built a life together, got married, and here we are… still following each other from room to room because we still don’t want to be apart lol. We’ve been through so much together. There have been so many moments where we could’ve walked away. We had every opportunity to give up, but we didn’t. We stayed. We talked. We figured it out. We learned each other. We grew. And most importantly, we chose to become better for one another because we both wanted this. Everything we’ve been through taught us how precious what we have really is. The love we have now didn’t happen overnight. It took time, patience, forgiveness, growing pains, and two people who were willing to keep choosing each other. We’ve gotten so much better at repairing instead of breaking, listening instead of reacting, and loving each other in the ways we actually need. And looking at us now… I can honestly say our relationship is at its highest point. 🥺 This is the healthiest, happiest, most peaceful version of us I’ve ever known, and knowing how much it took to get here makes me appreciate it even more. You’re still my favorite person to be around, even when we’re literally doing absolutely nothing. Eight years of loving you. Eight years of choosing you. From 7th grade to forever. We have grown up together, learned together, healed together, and fought through every challenge life placed in front of us. We’ve spent years learning how to love each other better, communicating through hard seasons, healing from past traumas, and protecting the bond we’ve built. Through the noise, the opinions, and the people who didn’t understand boundaries, we always chose each other. Today my heart is full & I feel so happy that after all these years, I get to call my best friend my husband.
God has truly blessed us, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the person who has been by my side since we were kids. Here’s to our next chapter. Forever starts now. Wedding planning ACTIVATEDDDDD💍🤍
