Champions Cup🥇

The past few days are hard to put into words. I cannot believe that I am a PDGA Major Champion!

Northwoods sets up well for my game. I was super comfortable on the course and stuck to the game plan every round. I was lacing almost every tee shot, and when I didn't, I didn't try to force anything. I think I missed four C1 putts all weekend which was a huge factor for my good round scores. I kept mostly calm when I found myself on lead card in a Major for rounds 3 and 4. I'm not sure how I did it but everything fell into place for the WIN!

Huge thanks to my brother who caddied for me all week. A big thanks to all my friends who stayed and watch me win. Thank you to everyone who's taken time to message me saying congratulations. And I couldn't do it without all my amazing sponsors who support me. @discgolfprotour

I got the Win this weekend at the Buffalo Run A-Tier event, my 3rd A-Tier win of the season and my 19th overall win of the season. This handmade axe is one of the coolest trophies in my collection!

I love the McAlister, OK course, it fits my game very well. Yesterday's final round turned into a good battle and post-production should be coming out in a few weeks!

Bid thanks to @discraftdiscgolf @ledgestoneopen @paul_mcbeth @papamurphys #elephantandcastle for everything. And thanks to my caddy Paul who jumped in my bag for the final 2 days. by @prez017

I got my first ever STL Open A-Tier win this weekend. After a lackluster first round, I managed to shoot two bogey free rounds to jump up and take the win by 1 stroke. It was one of the best battles I've ever had in my career. I managed to throw some great shots and hit clutch putts on the final 9 holes to secure the Win.

Big thanks to my family who came and watched, and to all of my sponsors who support me.

🌎 World Championships 🌎

This video is hard to watch for me. Something was just off, and as okay as 29th place at the World Championships seems, it could have been a fantastic weekend if I putted well.

Right after Des Moine my body didn't feel right for about 10 days. I went to the ER, Urgent care, and my doctor within these 10 days for what felt like the flu, but without a fever and cough. Best way to describe what I had, it felt like I was hit by a train. I was preparing myself that I wouldn't be able to make it to Worlds. But I started to feel better just in time to make the trip!

I was worried my game would be a little rusty after struggling through just one league round in those 10 days. However, I threw the disc amazing, most of these putts are for birdie. My putting success always comes in waves of a few months of good putting followed by a month or so of bad putting. I even practiced putted more than usual, it was the only thing I could do when my body didn't feel right.

Anytime I've had putting slumps I've always managed to grind it out, keep pushing and return to normal form. That's what I will work towards now.

I want to thank my caddie @davidchristieofficial (Pigeon) for being on my bag the entire 5 rounds.

Jumped back on the tour to play the Ledgestone Open. After 3 mediocre rounds and a hot final round, I finished in 20th place. A top 20 is nothing to feel bad about but man I feel like I could have been up near the top if I had a good putting week. Unfortunately I missed too many on the green.

Thank you to @discraftdiscgolf @ledgestoneopen @paul_mcbeth @papamurphys #elephantandcastle for everything they do! by @prez017

Played at the #1 course in the world, Eagles Crossing, this past weekend. It was the most grueling 2 rounds I've ever played. It's the first time in my career the heat got to me where I felt physically sick/dizzy for part of each round.

I shot a great opening round ending up in a tie for 1st after round 1. Unfortunately I didn't play great round two and dropped down to 3rd place. But in the stacked field, with the hot conditions, it's still a good showing. I was close to the W, but couldn't pull it off. by @prez017
