From Above is now yours, and our debut EP « who will see me then » will be out on March 14th 𓍼ོ

I’ve always sung for myself, for as long as I can remember, in times where I needed reassurance. Moments of small discomfort, feeling lonely or deep sorrow. Most of the times without even noticing it. The melody hits the brain, as a reflex. The breathing system starts vibrating, and you find yourself being immersed in the sensation of sound. Almost immediately. Then, it’s the alternate frequencies that create a sense of tension and release, and a ghostly sensation of the chords and harmonies, that you could almost hear. And in the end, it’s the meaning of the words coming out that strike me the most. As a message coming from the unconscious, that I cherish a lot.  This song is a lot about self reassurance, a peaceful vision that we convoke as godly creators looking from above. Almost like a self lullaby; so don’t be surprised to hear us sing in our mother tongue, romanian. We hope it will bring you the same feeling as it does to us when singing it.

Les soeurs de @pria.sisters revisitent dans ce MoodMusic « Machine Gun » de Portishead. Loin de l’ambiance oppressante de l’originale, les voix s’entremêlent avec douceur dans une vague sonore éthérée. Dès les premières secondes, le piano et la polyphonie nous emportent dans un paysage fantastique. La puissance de l’interprétation rend l’émotion palpable. La mélancolie laisse place à une tension inquiétante quand un synthé à la plainte aiguë apparaît. Ce morceau mystique ne cesse de gagner en intensité jusqu’à son climax. Pria a sorti « Who will see me then » en 2025 et prépare un nouvel EP dont le premier extrait paraîtra prochainement. by @pria.sisters

Emilie et Stéphanie Pria sont deux soeurs franco-roumaines basées à Paris. De formation classique, elles écrivent et composent une musique émotionnelle et mélancolique à rapprocher des univers de Björk, Broadcast, Eartheater ou Low. Leur travail est influencé par les arts visuels, la poésie, la danse et est marqué par leur héritage culturel, la magie et le sacré. Via leur approche pluri-disciplinaire, Pria interroge les dynamiques de disparition et transformation et tente de faire sens des parties manquantes. by @pria.sisters
