Something really beautiful happened, and I’m still letting it settle into my heart. Urban Artistry invited me to become a member. Not just to show up. But to become part of the family. 🥹❤️ And I didn’t receive that invitation alone. I was invited alongside my darling friend, my dance partner, my peer, Ray. ✨
To be welcomed into a space where people see you, believe in you, and genuinely want to see you grow — and to experience that moment alongside someone I admire, love and trust — meant so much to me.
I came looking for a class, a community. I found a home.

Thank you, @urbanartistrydc and @jlbrickhouse for seeing us, welcoming us, holding space for us and reminding us that art can create family in the most unexpected ways.
And now, we get to celebrate by doing what I love most:
SINGING. 🎶
This Saturday, October 3, SING DC is helping kick off the International Soul Society Festival with SING WHEATON from 2–3 PM at Urban Artistry.

Come sing with us.
Bring your people.
Bring your whole self.

No auditions. No experience necessary.
Just music, harmony, movement, and good people.

Come raise the vibes with us. ✨

Hey fam ✨
My mom gave 15 years to caring for my grandmother. When my grandmother passed last year, she forgot she had more to give.
I invited her back into daily devotion — no waiting for inspiration, just showing up. And it brought her back to herself. A creator.
That’s when I remembered something for myself too.
The fruit of the Spirit is manifesting in me — because something greater than me has been working on me, daily.
You knew me before.
Look at me now.
This healing didn’t happen overnight.
But my light came back.
And I want to remind you that yours can too.
Whatever you call that higher power —
God, Source, the Universe —
this is about knowing you’re not doing this alone.
That’s the heart of *Already Within* — a 13-week journey of grounding, self-compassion, and creative devotion, in community, that I’ll be guiding folks through starting September 13th. 🎶

Come through and be part of it.

I’ll have a video up at 12PM EST to talk more about the program and answer any questions you’ve got - pull up. 🤳🏽
