In the early Autumn of 2022 a once in a generation natural disaster took place on the North Eastern coast of New South Wales, Australia. The family house that I grew up in with my sisters was lost to the flood.

‘Grace Land’ is the retelling of this story....

I’m so immensely proud to finally share this book and project with the world. A huge thank you to the incredible ensemble of wonderful creatives who helped bring this deeply personal story to life. An extra special thank you to the residency program at @lamaisondelachapelle for giving this project a home, when at the time I had lost one.

Australian photographer based in Paris, @prideaux explores the quiet poetry of everyday life through contemplative and minimalist imagery. Shaped by his experiences across Melbourne, Japan, Southeast Asia and Europe, his work captures fleeting moments, subtle gestures, shifting light and the beauty of ordinary scenes.

Working with a cinematic sensibility, Prideaux creates photographs defined by stillness, atmosphere and a delicate attention to the spaces between things. His images invite us to slow down and embrace the impermanence of everyday life, finding meaning in moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

His first photobook, 008, was published by Setanta Books in 2021, followed by Grace Land, released by Whooden Studios in 2025. With a practice rooted in presence and observation, Prideaux sees photography as a way of preserving moments that were never meant to last — reminding us that sometimes, simply being there is enough.

The Dolomites, Italy 2026. 🇮🇹

By far one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life, but done seemingly so easily with the most wonderful of people around you - in the most incredible location.
Finding strengths beyond strengths, there are new depths and endless multitudes to all of us for what we can achieve - I’d never in my life thought I could do something like this.

Dolomites Ultra Extreme Trail - 38k, 2400 meters elevation and 8 hours later.
