Happy to be working with the one and only true mushroom professor @mycophilianl ❤️‍🔥🍄🔬🧑‍🔬⚗️✨🌙🌞 by @primamateriamodernalchemy
What’s a tincture project without a proper shroom shot? What can I say…what started as an intuited side project 6 years ago and has slowly grown into a full life project. One that fuels my inner dork completely One that is teaching me so much about this wondrous and mysterious organism One that connects me with people, many becoming close friends One of which I know I will still be working with when I’m 80 years old Like I have shared many times, and will keep sharing; I am humbled by your trust and lovely words you share with me about your experiences with the mushroom It’s an honor to make these extractions for you and I’m very excited to keep walking the path and explore what’s around the next corner… Yours truly, Stef ❤️‍🔥🍄✨🌙🌞👺 Thank you @mathys_ideas for the beautiful shot, to many more forage sessions and mycelial conversations by @primamateriamodernalchemy

the extraction process of @primamateriamodernalchemy Lions Mane tinctures is a hand craft developed over several years based on alchemical processes. it takes time, attention and lots of love. thats why we work with smaller batches, maintaining quality over quantity. if you have any questions about Lions Mane DM us. we’re here 🙂‍↕️🤟 by @primamateriamodernalchemy
We’ve got a new product drop in collaboration with Stef from Prima Materia. He’s been crafting his Lions Mane extractions since 2020 and has perfected a tincture that’s both potent and immensely tasteful — umami bomb galore. Stef works with Dutch grown Lions Mane and does all of the extraction by hand in his home which doubles as a mini lab. For this collaboration we’ve added 100mcg of liquid Alice Dee to 30ml of Lions Mane tincture. We view this collab as lots of synergistic overlap 🧠✨ Lions Mane and Alice Dee is now available for pre-order. We’ll take orders till 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟮:𝟬𝟬 From there on we’ll start prepping the bottles and ship them that same week. by @primamateriamodernalchemy
Together with @primamateriamodernalchemy we’re hosting a pop-up at @cloudamsterdam coming Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 of August. Expect iced Ceremonial Cacao drinks paired with Lions Mane extracts by Prima Materia, artisinal chocolates and all the information around the craftmanship of our products. Cloud Prinsengracht 276 Amsterdam 10-11 August 12:00 - 16:00 See you then! by @primamateriamodernalchemy
Getting closer to the release of a new collaboration between @leeway.tools and @primamateriamodernalchemy The locally grown and produced Lions Mane extract by Prima Materia is the result of ongoing research into alchemical processes and a mushroom that has a rich history in both medicinal and mystical use cases. Leeway Tools will bring a touch of synergism by adding a neuroplasticity inducing (legal) ρѕу¢нє∂єℓι¢ compound.
Prima Materia and Leeway Tools work in small batch production which means that you might want to keep an eye on this collab as it could go pretty fast. Stay tuned and enjoy your summer ✌️ by @primamateriamodernalchemy
So…. Playing the Instagram game is not my thing anymore, I just feel like sharing my process transparently and in a flow that works for me. Until now, I felt like I created a structure and rhythm that was holding me back, rather than allowing me to express without taking away too much time… Thing is, naming every batch and writing a little story felt at one point a bit gimmicky. However, I absolutely did love the intention which came with it. It gives the batch a certain energy, and people could refer back to her. Therefore, I wanna introduce Selene… Not many people know her name, but she’s the Greek Goddess of the Moon. And as I have quite a special connection with the Moon, therefore with Selene, she is the goddess for me to start naming my batches again. Selene is pure mystery, the Queen of the Night which shines her light upon us during the dark, with help from her brother Helios. However, as a symbol of the night, the Unconscious, she equally represents something dark. As we never see Selene in her full glory, even with there is a full moon… her other half remains in the dark, the unknown, the unconscious. Which for me is the essence of her very mystery ✨🌙 by @primamateriamodernalchemy
It’s fascinating we live in a world where the name “Jesus” is known globally, yet the name Mithra(s) draws blanks for most. While, in the absolute early days of the rise of Christianity, Mithraism was its main competitor. Even more…it was being favoured by most, including the armies in Rome, who hold the actual power. Christianity didn’t like this a bit, so they tried everything to ban it, and managed to do exactly that. Like Kanye likes to do, Christianity also stole a lot of the elements coming from Mithraism and incorporated it in their spiritual corpus. Like Jesus, Mithra was also born immaculately, on the 25th of December, from a rock. Yes, a rock… Both figures were seen as divine saviours, although the story of Mithra has been around significantly longer, as Mithra is the protagonist of the grand epic, as told by the prophet Zarathustra, and the God called Ahura Mazda (yes, the car brand is based on this). Although Mithra is mostly depicted as a man, there are some people saying that Mithra is actually a woman (!!!), and seeing it’s art it absolutely makes sense. The fascinating, and mind blowing, element of Mithraism, is that it was perceived as a “mystery cult”. So its members swore an oath not to share anything about it, it was only to be found in art; paintings, fresco’s and statues all across the world, as it was a global religion. The ‘mystery’ they tried to hide, but it’s becoming more clear what the key element is in Mithraism; mushrooms. And not just any mushroom… the Amanita Muscaria aka the Fly Agaric aka the red and white one aka this: 🍄 And yes, this mushroom is an entheogen (psychedelic), and was(is) been used all over the planet for the higher states of consciousness. Mithra was equally worshipped in Buddhism and even the Indian Vedic religions. The latter having their own infamous drink of immortality called “Soma”, which accordingly to many scholars equally is the Amanita Muscaria mushroom. The symbolism of Mithra is all around. Even to this day, it can be found everywhere… but more on that soon ;) by @primamateriamodernalchemy
I’m finally catching up here a bit… I recently discovered something “new”, however, is in essence quite “old”. It feels full circle, like the serpent biting it’s own tail, starting a new cycle. A wondrous journey, as I’ve been intuitively following these symbols for many years, and now I’m “here” and the quest brought me this technique. Before I share more, I need to do more research and experimentation. But the books are already ordered and first practical lessons have been embodied. Finally the name “Prima Materia” is finding her roots, “modern alchemy” his creative expression. Thank you all for joining the ride, I’m very grateful 🙏❤️🍄✨🐉⚗️ by @primamateriamodernalchemy
