By yourself? No problem!!!! You can still do contact and have a GREAT solo practice session😎 A while back, I came up with an idea to use my yoga ball to practice in my garage because I was itching to practice some derbs but didn’t have anyone to practice with at the time. I posted a video to my story and y’all LOVED it so I figured I’d come up with some more ideas and share them with the derbyverse🥰 Honestly, I love getting creative and thinking of new drills and I bet there are sooo many MORE things you can do by yourself with a yoga ball! Let me know if you have any suggestions or if you try any of these ideas!!❤️ These drills are perfect for small spaces too🛼🛼🛼

Feeling superrrr groovy in my @ridetsgquadskate gear and I decided to match in a pink cutesy outfit today🥰😂💖

🚨MERCH ALERT🚨 I repeat, ‼️MERCH ALERT‼️ I am so excited to share that I have created a Printify Pop Up Store (linked in my bio) where y’all can buy some Primm Reaper merch!!🥰💖 Right now I have 3 designs:

1️⃣ A Team Japan (unofficial) design featuring a cutesy Shiba Inu in some roller skates🛼
2️⃣ A “Roller Derby” design featuring Japanese writing and a checkerboard pattern🏁 This one’s a favorite of mine as I’ve been sporting a sweater very similar to this since regionals last year!!💕
3️⃣A Primm Reaper design featuring the saying, “Let’s play a little game called roller derby”😉💗☠️

Buying merch from my pop up would help me significantly in my fundraising efforts to get to the 2025 Roller Derby World Cup in Innsbruck, Austria!😍 I cannot wait to represent Team Japan!!!🇯🇵 I would be so super grateful for your support whether it’s a purchase, a share, or a mention to a friend🙏💗

Thank you @ridetsgquadskate for supporting me along the way and getting me to this point with the raddest gear in the biz❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Added some color to my skates today!🌈 I thought re-lacing my skates would be a good opportunity to share a little bit about me - some of my favs, my pet peeves, and even my opinion on farts😳😂 I’d love to know if any of y’all can relate!!!!🤣💗 I post a lot of tutorials and highlight reels and what not, but I am a person at the end of the day and these are the things that make the athlete that I am!!!🥰🥰🥰

Also featured in this video is my new merch design - Goat or Get Goated!!🐐 I put them up on my Printify shop (link in bio!), available in these color styles:
💜💙💚
Let me know if you’d like to see these designs on anything else - totes, hats, etc!!!🥰

⛑️: Thank you to my amazing sponsor @ridetsgquadskate for providing me with gear that I absolutely loveee to wear!!

How many of y’all can say you’ve never lost a toenail?😏😆 HAHA I’ve accumulated a handful of injuries in my derby career so far, some serious and some not so bad. Injuries absolutely suck and I wouldn’t wish them upon my worst enemy. But unfortunately, they are part of playing sports. We build community in shared experiences, so I decided to share mine on my YouTube channel! Go check it out if you want to hear more @ Jam Packed Roller Derby!

I mainly talked about what injuries I’ve had. I didn’t touch on a really big part of them though, which is the recovery process. Emotionally and mentally, injuries can be just as tough as the physical recovery. Getting injured is a really isolating experience and it’s never easy. Another time, I’d love to give my insights into staying positive during recovery and tips to help support skaters that are injured!

Let me know if y’all have any questions or relate to these injuries!!❤️💔❤️‍🩹

If it ~could~ help, why not try it?😇 That’s the mindset I’ve been obsessing over for the last year or so. I was really excited to try DTR practice when I first discovered it and so far, MNRD Allstars have tried a couple! Because we (as roller derby athletes) bout so infrequently, I think this is a great way to simulate our real-life competition days and make the actual competition day less scary😉 Maybe bout day poops would become less of a thing if we all practiced DTR more🤣 Jk lol but I think this could be really helpful for newer skaters, as well! Bout days can feel like such a big undertaking but practicing the feeling of the things on your body (glitter, makeup, gear, thick socks, tape, etc.) coupled with your emotions and routines could be really beneficial!

I remember watching the Netflix documentary “Cheer” a couple years ago and iirc, they would practice in their uniform for a friends and family crowd before their actual competitions. I also like to compare DTR to musicians and theater folks having dress rehearsals before their performances. I see DTR practice as something that prepares our brains for all the fun, excitement, nerves, and stress of bout days.

Yes, we’ve already made DTF jokes too😆 It’s DTR - dressed, taped, and ready!!!! HAHA (-:

Who doesn’t love a good jersey whip?!🤩 Last weekend, @the_mnrd ventured down south to Atlanta, GA to play @atlrollerderby 😍💗🍑 Felt so good to be back in my old stomping grounds with my new team. I loved seeing everybody and had a genuinely wonderful time🥹 Here is a fun clip from our game, taken on the Pickle Cam!🥒

I think I just got lucky😆💗 But I’ll take it! Moments unfold so fast in derby, really within a matter of seconds. Having a quick reaction time and being able to predict what’s going to happen next is a huge skill as a skater and something I’m always working on! Sometimes the timing works out due to chance and sometimes it’s perfectly calculated!!! ⏰

I’m also working on a new skill (to me) using body rotations while keeping my arms tucked into my body!!!😈

It’s always a pleasure to play with @api_fury_rollerderby 💚💚💚 I can’t wait for my next opportunity! Thank you to both @ridetsgquadskate and @skate_good_club for keeping me fitted in the best of gear, from arm bands to knee pads🥰
