From Placement to New Opportunities

Before joining youth@WORK, Amanda Sibanda was working towards a career in digital marketing and looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience.
Through the programme, she developed her skills in social media, content creation, digital marketing and analytics while gaining valuable workplace experience.

Her hard work and commitment opened new doors. Within just one month, she received two employment opportunities.
Her journey shows that one opportunity can lead to another — and with determination, the right platform can help turn potential into a career.

“Don’t give up on yourself. Keep learning, keep applying, and make the most of every opportunity.”

New month, same lessons I'll always carry with me. 💛

One thing my dad always taught me is that a lady deserves beautiful jewelry. ✨ Thankfully, I don't have to spend a fortune to feel elegant.

I found gorgeous, affordable pieces on Temu! 💍 Search my code ala696188 in the Temu app to enjoy 30% OFF your order and treat yourself this month. 🛍️💖

Nothing beats the smell of fresh baking! I was so excited to receive this Nestlé Cocoa Powder from @hometesterclub_sa , and of course I had to put it to the test. Rich, chocolatey, and perfect for baking, I'm definitely impressed! 🤎

Thank you, Home Tester Club, for the opportunity to try it out!

Behind the scenes of Session 2 with the 2026 GLOW Global Cohort! 🌎✨

We dove deep into a powerful "Identity Discussion" this week, exploring how our backgrounds, cultures, and societies shape who we are as leaders. Being in a virtual room filled with so many inspiring young women from across the globe makes me incredibly grateful for this space to learn, unlearn, and grow together.

True change starts with understanding. Ready to take these lessons and turn them into local action!

First week of AVA Hub ERA Training and I'm already learning so much!

Yesterday we explored the importance of communication, professionalism, and building strong client relationships. Every session is helping me grow into a more confident and capable Virtual Assistant. 💙✨

I'm excited to see where this journey takes me!
