As I sit here and look through pictures from the past year I can't help but be thankful to the Lord for what 2025 has become.

1) First off, I'm thankful for Friendship Southern Baptist Church and the many friends and connections I made while I was there. It was bittersweet to leave the church that loved on me and poured into me over the past six years. It was truly such a blessing and honor to serve on the Praise Team, help out Pastor Avery with the Youth Group and be involved in Children's Church with my brother, Pastor Dakota.

2) I am thankful to Pastor Jesse for his dedication to preaching the Word in a way that helped me grow and mature. He's an inspiration and a mentor that I admire greatly. I also appreciate him for taking time out of his busy schedule to help Elizabeth and I with marriage counseling and for leading our wedding ceremony.

3 & 4) I am thankful for friends and sharing quality time with them by going to sporting events.

5) I am thankful for my new car and for moving into my new home although both experiences were pretty stressful.

6) I am thankful for this group of STUDS that are not only super handsome, but are a group of men that I trust and know I can turn to whenever I need help.

7) I am thankful for my in-laws for they love me, care for me, help me and pray for me in all situations. They have truly been a light to me as I continue to get used to living in their sweet, little town, away from my family.

8 & 9) I am thankful for my family for they have always wanted what was best for me. They check up on me, pray for me and continue to love on me strongly even though I've moved away and don't see them as often as I did.

10 & 11) Yet, most of all, I'm thankful for my beautiful wife, Elizabeth. The Lord has blessed me with a woman that pushes me to be a better version of myself day in and day out, a woman that loves me despite my flaws and failures, a woman that cares to grow in the Lord with me. Life together is so wonderful as we continue to figure out what marriage is all about, but we both know that the Lord is sovereign through it all and that's enough to be thankful about. by @prince.davvvid
