Allow us to introduce our KING, Mr Africa UK 2026 @prince_charmingfab — representing the proud nation of Nigeria🇳🇬

“This journey has taught me resilience, growth, and the importance of following your purpose, even when the dream feels unreal or impossible.

But my journey is bigger than the crown. It’s about building a life of purpose, continuing to grow Breaking the Silence, and creating conversations around intentional parenting because the values, love and guidance we give children today help shape the generation of tomorrow.

The crown is a platform, but purpose is the legacy I want to build. 👑❤️”

A journey that started a few months ago with hope has finally become a reality. 👑

I started this journey with uncertainty, not knowing exactly where it would lead, but I made up my mind to give it my all. Looking back now, I’m grateful I took that step.

What started with a completely different mindset ended up giving birth to something much bigger a new purpose, a new goal and a clearer vision centred around charity, empowerment and giving back.

I can confidently say that African UK Pageant and Empowerment Programmes empowered me. I came into this journey hoping to achieve something for myself, but I’m leaving with a greater desire to use my voice, my platform and everything I’ve learned to empower others.

To the organisers, the convener, the entire team, my fellow contestants, my family, friends and everyone who supported me, voted for me, encouraged me, shared my journey or simply believed in me thank you. Every bit of support played a part in getting me here, and I’m truly grateful.

Today, with a grateful heart, I proudly present to you your new King “Mr African UK 2026. 👑🇳🇬”

This crown is more than a title to me. It represents purpose, responsibility and an opportunity to make an impact. I’m ready to take everything this journey has given me and carry it beyond the crown.

The journey has only
just begun. 👑❤️

Looking back at how far I’ve come, all I can say is THANK YOU, LORD! 🙏🏽❤️

Thank You for the growth, the courage, and the confidence to walk into rooms I once never imagined I would enter.

From finding my own voice to standing before people, sharing my story, touching lives, and having people genuinely listen to what I have to say.

What once felt like a distant dream is gradually becoming my reality. I’m finding my purpose, making an impact, breaking barriers, and touching lives in ways I never imagined.

What started as a simple desire to encourage men to speak up about their mental health has grown into something much bigger. Through Breaking the Silence, I am not just finding my voice; I am creating spaces for others to find theirs, reminding men that their struggles matter, their emotions are valid, and their voices deserve to be heard.

This journey is no longer just about me. It is about the lives I can touch, the conversations I can inspire, and the difference I can make.

I may not be where I want to be yet, but when I look at where I started, my heart is filled with gratitude.

Lord, I see Your hand in every opportunity, every connection, and every door You continue to open. I do not take any of it for granted.

From breaking my own silence to helping others break theirs. This is purpose. This is growth. This is grace. 👑❤️

Friday night, I couldn’t sleep.

I had just arrived in Manchester, and for some reason, whenever I’m in a new environment, sleep can be a struggle. So I went on YouTube and stumbled across My 30th Wedding by Bimbo Ademoye.

I watched it, laughed, enjoyed every bit of it, and honestly, that was it. At that moment, it was simply entertainment. Maybe because I was tired, I didn’t think too deeply about the message behind it.

Saturday came and went.

Then on Sunday morning, around 6am, I picked up my phone and opened Instagram. I was looking for inspiration something about Manchester, something I could turn into content while exploring a new city.

And what was the first thing on my feed?

Bimbo Ademoye talking about My 30th Wedding.

Suddenly, something clicked: intentional parenting.

I thought, Wait… this is exactly one of the conversations I’ve been having through Breaking the Silence.

Because intentional parenting cannot be overemphasised.

Having children should go beyond society saying, “You’re getting older, when are you going to have kids?” It goes beyond simply being able to provide food, clothes, school fees or a roof over their heads.

We need to ask deeper questions.

Am I emotionally ready to raise another human being?
Have I dealt with some of my own childhood wounds?
Am I prepared to listen, communicate and create a home where my child feels safe enough to speak?

Sometimes, without realising it, parents pass down the very wounds they never healed from.

And that’s why we need to do better.

Intentional parenting means understanding that raising a child isn’t only about bringing them into the world—it’s about being conscious of the kind of world you create around them.

A movie entertained me on Friday night.

By Sunday morning, it had started an entirely different conversation in my head.

And I think it’s a conversation worth having.

Are we raising children intentionally, or are we simply repeating what was done to us?
