✨🐾 My Petco Love Story: Pawprints from Heaven (told from my FurMommy) 🐾✨

In March 2021, my Mom gained her wings after a battle with ovarian cancer. 💜 Our hearts were shattered, and even though our home was full of love, something was missing.

One afternoon, while scrolling @sapetsalive , a little pup with happy-sad eyes and oversized paws stopped me in my tracks. In that very moment, I heard my Mom’s voice from heaven whisper: “This is your dog to love. He needs your love. Your home is where he will be loved.”

With tears streaming, I filled out the adoption papers. Three days later, Prince walked through our door and straight into our hearts. 🐶👑

Since then, mornings are no longer ruled by alarms but by soft wake-up barks. Evenings are filled with zoomies, toy chaos, and cuddle time.

Prince has taught us a new kind of love—the kind that’s patient when shoes get chewed, the kind that forgives quickly and celebrates loudly how to live in the moment—to chase the ball, stop to smell the roses, and greet every day with excitement. 🌸

Prince wasn’t just a pup we chose—he’s a soul heaven sent. He didn’t just join our family… he completed it. 💕

We thought we were rescuing him, but in truth… he rescued us. 🐾

🥹 I MISSED THE PARTY, BUT MY FURMOMMY NEEDED ME MORE. THAT’S WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE. ❤️🐾

Your Dapper Correspondent is checking in for My Weekend Recap + Monday’s Mantra! 🎤

Our weekend started with Barktober at our local Subaru dealership, and YOUR BOY was living his best life! 😎🍂

Treats? SECURED. ✅
New fun toy? SECURED. ✅
Fall photoshoot? NAILED IT. 📸

The pet photographer even called me a PROFESSIONAL! 🤌🏾 Excuse me while I add that to my résumé. 😂

But then, our plans took an unexpected turn. 🥺

FurMommy bent over the wrong way and pulled a muscle. PawPaw had to come get us, and our plans for the Monster Mash were officially canceled.

FurMommy needed rest, so your boy changed assignments. ❤️

From party pup to personal nurse. 🐾

I stayed close, delivered extra cuddles, and made sure FurMommy got plenty of treats to make up for the missed adventure.

Because being a dog isn't just about showing up for the fun stuff. It's about being there when your favorite human needs you most. 🥹❤️

We missed the Monster Mash, but we still had something better: time together, comfort, and unconditional love.

✨ Monday's Mantra: Not every day goes as planned, but there's always room for love, cuddles, and a little something tasty. ❤️

I didn’t know I was being rescued…

I thought I was just being chosen. ❤️

I was a pup who needed someone to see me, love me, and give me a chance.

My Pawrents did. 🥹

They gave me more than a home. They gave me a family, a couch throne, endless snuggles, and a love I never knew was waiting for me.

I went from rescue pup to living my very own dapper life. ✨🐾

Yep. That was me on Sunday. 😂

It’s What I’m Wearing Wednesday, and Your Dapper Correspondent has a weather-related complaint.

I showed up for my fall pictures with my favorite Pawtographer @_pawsnposes looking 100% autumn-ready…

🌡️ Fall weather: NOWHERE TO BE FOUND

Texas really looked at the calendar and said:

“We’re not doing that yet.” 😂

At this point, I have one question:

I’m over here serving fall fashion while Texas is still serving July. 🥵
