I’m still taking in everything from last night.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the first chapter of Prince Johnny with us. Some of you have been part of this studio from the beginning and some walked through our doors for the first time last night. It meant so much to see this space filled with all of you.

Opening a new studio means asking people to take a chance on something new. To work here, guest here, get tattooed here or simply walk through the door and see what we’re building. I don’t take that support lightly 🤍

I know how busy life gets which made it even more meaningful that so many of you spent the evening with us. There were old friends, new introductions, artists meeting artists and people coming to support those they love. That is what I hoped this night could be.

I want Prince Johnny to be more than a place where we tattoo. I hope it continues to be a place where people meet, share their work and support one another. This night felt like the beginning of something bigger.

@lauren_does_sound , thank you for being beside me through every version of this place and for everything you did to bring this night together. 🤍

To our resident artists, thank you for trusting this studio with your work, your clients and a part of your careers.

To every guest artist who has spent time with us this year, thank you for bringing a little piece of your world into ours.

To @sezarutattoos @jenaperrytattoos @christopher_vaughn_gay @savsky_tattoo @sullivangiles, thank you for sharing your artwork with us and filling the studio with work that extends beyond tattooing.

And to @tkards, thank you for spending the evening with us and adding a little magic to the night.

Finally, thank you to everyone who came. For showing up, meeting someone new, looking at the artwork, taking photos, leaving something in the archive and sharing a drink with us. You made the studio feel incredibly alive.

I hope this is only the beginning of more nights like this, more connections and more reasons to come together.

Thank you for being part of it.

Here are just a few reasons why artists choose to guest at Prince Johnny. Swipe through!

If you’re interested in visiting, send us a DM. We’d love to chat.

Couldn’t you envision yourself here? This station is in our “back room” and is currently available for either a guest artist or our next resident artist.
All stations are filled with tons of storage containers that you can modify to your liking, along with magnetic shelves, glove holder, and more that you can customize for your time with us to feel more comfortable.

One thing about us: we like variety. It was important to us here at Prince Johnny to make sure you had options when it came to your supplies. Want Castile soap instead of green soap? We got you! Want @pantheraink instead of @dynamiccolor? We got you! We have 4 different stencil solution options for you and over 6 different glide options. We try our best to make sure we have what you use at home but if there is ever anything specific you would like? Let us know as we are always open to growth!

Photographing your work is important and we want to support you. Often times you will find our founder @victorialomonaco taking photos and videos for our team when she isn’t tattooing. We have 4 different backdrops to choose from, a cream colored wall, and an outdoor patio for great natural lighting.
Use our in house camera and you’ll be able to download it straight onto your iPad using our adapters!

What helps make a lasting impression with your clients? Sending them home with a hand stamped reusable linen after care bag. Each bag comes with aftercare instructions (with a note to still listen to their artist first and foremost), a note thanking each client asking them to leave a review, a packet of aquaphor, various stickers, a crystal or two, and an incense cone!

Snacks! Who doesn’t love snacks? We have a rotating roster of tons of snacks available for your client. Whether they need something sweet to help their blood sugar, or need something with protein after a long day. We have fruit snacks, tea, and a fridge filled with lots of drinks too.

Happy Birthday to our wonderful studio manager Mani! 🤍

We figured his birthday was the perfect time to officially introduce him to everyone!

@rageagainsthemani has been such a wonderful addition to Prince Johnny and we are so grateful for the care, energy, and love he brings to our little community. We feel so lucky to have him helping us grow and making the studio an even more special place.

September was such a beautiful month at Prince Johnny!

This month brought incredible tattoos, visits from four talented guest artists, new faces in the studio and our drawing night event! We are so grateful for the opportunity to create alongside wonderful artists and continue building connections within the tattoo community.

14-inch life-size dagger, all handpoked 🖤

I have been absolutely loving getting to tattoo this style and would love to bring more designs like this to life. I would especially love to do more weapons like maces, daggers, flails, and more.

I will always love creating really pretty ornamental and botanical work along with heavy blackwork, but getting to explore different textures and objects has been such a fun challenge. Metal, lanterns, vases, weapons, and anything that lets me push what I can do within the handpoke / stick and poke tattoo technique.

I’m currently booking November and December in Seattle. If you have an idea and want to explore this style with me, reach out on here and let’s create something cool!!

This tattoo was completed in one full-day session. We started tattooing right around noon and were taking photos by 7:20pm. Ahhh words cannot even express how special this day was for all of us. Getting to create alongside another tattoo artist, collaborate on something completely new, and walk away as friends is such a beautiful thing.

I am so grateful to @aura222tattoos for coming all the way to Seattle from Spokane, where she owns @auraliteartcollective, to create this epic piece with me. And @bbratprincess, you are so sweet and special and I am so thankful to have met you. Thank you for trusting us and giving us the honor of creating something like this for you. 🖤

This piece was such a fun combination of our two styles and techniques. There were times we worked separately because of the placement, but for the majority of the tattoo we were working at the same time, with me handpoking alongside Hailey working with her machine.

All of the ornamental work and stipple shaded leafy babes were done by me, while the solid linework, black leaves, and flower were done by Hailey. And we aren’t finished yet! We’ll be getting back together at the end of October to finish the piece and shade the flower together.

I would absolutely love to do more collaborations like this in the future. Whether you’re a client interested in getting a collaborative tattoo or another tattoo artist who wants to create something together, I would love to connect with artists of all different styles. Collaborating pushes me to think outside of the box, learn from someone else’s process, and grow as an artist. I really just love creating with other people.

Meet Vivian 💫

@vivz.ttt will be joining us September 30th–October 3rd from the Bay in San Jose, CA.

Vivian creates fine line tattoos with an abstract approach, often incorporating halftone techniques and touches of microrealism into her work.

During her time at Prince Johnny, Vivian would especially love to take on more script and hand or finger tattoos, as well as pieces featuring halftone work. She is open to all sizes and forms!

Prince Johnny welcomes our newest resident artist, @musoutattoo 🖤

Musou specializes in dark flow, smoke flow, blackwork and sigilism, creating bold pieces that move naturally with the body. He is especially excited to take on larger-scale work including full limbs, pieces that extend across multiple areas of the body and more freehand projects.

With a background in music and an eye for movement and composition, Musou brings a style to Prince Johnny that feels completely his own. We are so excited to have him joining us at the studio!
