There are moments when your career comes full circle, not because you arrived at a destination, but because you have an opportunity to reach back and share what the journey taught you.

I’m honored to announce that on Wednesday, September 30, I’ll be speaking with the nationally ranked #22 @smufb program.

This conversation is bigger than football.

I’ll have the opportunity to share my journey through the business of sports, from graduating at @pennstate , college & pro coaching, working with the @philadelphiaeagles players, working with @usafootball Coaching Academy, owning an 85k sq.ft. Sports Performance Training Center, entrepreneurship and education, to becoming a Certified NFLPA Agent, and building @princemgmtgroup.

But I don't want to simply tell students where I've been.

I want to tell them what I wish someone had told me before I got there.

Because one question has followed me throughout my career:

“How do you know what you're supposed to know, if nobody tells you what you should know?”

We'll talk about breaking into the sports industry, creating opportunities when there isn't a traditional path in front of you, developing relationships, understanding the business behind the game, handling rejection, recognizing your value, and building skills that make organizations need you, not simply want you.

I'll also share some of the books, people, resources, experiences, successes, and failures, that have helped shape the way I approach business, leadership and sports today.

Most importantly, I want these young men and aspiring sports professionals to understand that their careers do not have to follow a straight line.

Sometimes the detours become the education.

Sometimes the rejection becomes the redirection.

And sometimes the opportunity you are looking for begins with being willing to walk into a room, listen, learn, serve and become valuable before anyone knows your name.

Thank you to Bryan Filker, Director of Recruiting Operations, and the SMU Football program for the invitation and opportunity to pour into the next generation.

Looking forward to an impactful conversation.

Join me in lifting the family of Marvin Antoine in prayer as they endure the tragic loss of their son, brother, cousin, friend and teammate.

Marvin went to college to gain an education, experience life and continue playing the game he loved. On September 19, 2026, that journey came to an abrupt and heartbreaking end.

As parents, we all WANT the best for our children. From birth, we pour everything we know into their minds, hearts and souls. We teach them, protect them and prepare them for a world we cannot completely control.

We send them to college to gain knowledge, independence and pursue Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. No parent should have to pray every time their child leaves home: “Please let my child make it back.”

We want our children to succeed, but more than anything, we want them to LIVE.

Anger, jealousy, envy and resentment can move like a snake in the grass. But when anger becomes violence, families and communities carry the damage.

Our young men must understand: walking away is not weakness. De-escalating conflict is not cowardice. Strength can mean refusing to let one moment of anger determine the rest of your life — or end someone else’s.

I have two boys, Justin Anthony, 17, and Maine Jr., 14. They remain my WHY. I want their lives — and the lives around them — to be better. That is the Village.

When my faith in humanity becomes difficult, my Faith in Jesus Christ must become stronger.

Today, I pray for Marvin’s family, friends, teammates, coaches and the UMass Dartmouth community. I pray another young man dealing with anger reaches for a parent, coach or mentor instead of a weapon.

Rest in Paradise, young King. Your life has meaning. Your life has purpose. Your impact will carry on.

Be kind to one another. Call your children. Call your parents. Call your friends. Call someone you have not spoken to in years and ask, “Are you okay?”

As Chairman of Fatherhood & Mentoring for Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. — Zeta Mu Nu Chapter, I remain committed to uplifting our community, mentoring young men and building the Village.

Rest in Paradise, Marvin Antoine.

College football suffered a heartbreaking loss on Saturday, August 29, 2026 - when William Jewell College junior running back MicahJo Barnett died following a medical emergency during the Cardinals’ season opener against Fort Lewis College in Liberty, Missouri.

Barnett had just scored the game’s only touchdown on a 1-yard run late in the first quarter. Minutes later, he experienced a medical emergency on the sideline. Emergency personnel responded, and he was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The game was suspended and ultimately canceled.

An official cause of death has not been announced, and out of respect for MicahJo and his family, we should not speculate.

His loss is bigger than football.

This is a wake-up call for every parent.

We see college football players with tremendous strength, speed and muscle. We watch NFL players and sometimes place them on a pedestal as if they are superhuman. But underneath the helmets, uniforms, statistics and highlights are human beings.

They are sons. Brothers. Friends. Teammates. Young men who need love, encouragement, friendship and support.

Sometimes former players talk about returning because they miss their teammates, the fans and the energy of the game. That energy matters.

We should ALWAYS give that same energy to our children and the people we love.

I reflect on my own two teenage boys, Justin Anthony (17YO) and Maine Jr.(14YO). Being away from them is always heartbreaking. Every time I blink, they are getting older, growing and developing into young men.

The expression “they grow in the blink of an eye” is not just about time. It is about how quickly their lives, personalities, dreams and futures develop before us.

Justin and Maine Jr., I love you every day, every minute, every second and every millisecond... forever & a day.

To MicahJo’s parents, family, friends, teammates and fans: hold tightly to the good memories. Keep pursuing your dreams. Keep loving people while they are here.

Nothing is ever perfect.

Don’t wait for perfect.

Be there now.

Rest in Paradise, MicahJo Barnett. 🕊️🏈 taken in Dublin, Ireland by @princemgmtgroup

THE SPORTS BLUEPRINT FOR CHANGE — WEEK 5

PILLAR V: FATHERHOOD AND POSITIVE MALE LEADERSHIP

A father’s presence can influence far more than what happens inside the home.

It can shape identity, confidence, discipline, academic achievement, relationships, decision-making, and the direction of an entire community.

This week’s Weekly Address focuses on Pillar V of The Sports Blueprint for Change: FATHERHOOD AND POSITIVE MALE LEADERSHIP.

WATCH THE WEEKLY ADDRESS:
https://youtu.be/nEQAwJHl8ao

For student-athletes, positive male leadership can become one of the strongest foundations they carry into competition and life.

Fathers help children understand who they are.

They encourage academic excellence.

They establish expectations.

They model accountability, respect, work ethic, resilience, and responsibility.

They can also provide critical guidance when young people encounter social pressure, stereotypes, discrimination, adversity, recruiting decisions, and the enormous expectations surrounding sports.

But fatherhood reaches beyond biological fathers.

Coaches. Teachers. Uncles. Grandfathers. Mentors. Pastors. Community leaders.

Positive men who intentionally invest time, wisdom, discipline, encouragement, and love into young people can help strengthen families and neighborhoods.

Many fathers also extend their leadership beyond their own children — mentoring teammates, nieces, nephews, students, and young people who may need another trusted adult in their corner.

That is COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP.

The Sports Blueprint for Change challenges us to recognize fatherhood not simply as a title, but as an active responsibility.

Presence matters.

Communication matters.

Example matters.

Leadership matters.

THE SPORTS BLUEPRINT FOR CHANGE — WEEK 4

PILLAR IV: NAME, IMAGE, AND LIKENESS

NIL changed college athletics on July 1, 2021.

Since then, the rules, policies, interpretations, and enforcement surrounding Name, Image, and Likeness have continued to evolve — creating tremendous opportunity, but also tremendous confusion for student-athletes and their families.

This week’s Weekly Address focuses on Pillar IV of The Sports Blueprint for Change: NAME, IMAGE, AND LIKENESS.

WATCH THE WEEKLY ADDRESS: https://youtu.be/09LfeKyMm38

NIL is about much more than getting paid.

It involves contracts, taxes, branding, marketing, agents, collectives, disclosure requirements, intellectual property, eligibility, social media, business decisions, and understanding exactly what an athlete is agreeing to before signing anything.

And the landscape keeps changing.
Since NIL began, policies have been modified repeatedly. That means information families received one year ago — or even several months ago — may no longer reflect today’s environment.

Parents cannot afford to simply hear “NIL opportunity” and assume everything is good.

Ask questions.
Who is offering the deal?
What are the athlete’s obligations?
How long is the agreement?
Who owns the content?
Can the athlete terminate the contract?
What are the tax consequences?
Could the agreement affect other opportunities?
Who is protecting the athlete’s interests?

The Sports Blueprint for Change was written to help families become better informed before major decisions are placed in front of them.

THE SPORTS BLUEPRINT FOR CHANGE — WEEK 3
PILLAR III: MENTAL HEALTH AND EMOTIONAL WELLNESS

We spend countless hours preparing athletes physically.
Strength. Speed. Skills. Film study. Recruiting. Competition.
But how much time are we spending preparing and protecting them mentally and emotionally?

This week’s Weekly Address focuses on Pillar III of The Sports Blueprint for Change: MENTAL HEALTH AND EMOTIONAL WELLNESS.

WATCH THE WEEKLY ADDRESS: https://youtu.be/kKTMGDtYDzk

Student-athletes face pressures that many people never see.
Expectations from coaches. Recruiting decisions. Social media criticism. Academic responsibilities. Injuries. Playing time. NIL opportunities. Family expectations. Financial pressures. Winning. Losing. And sometimes the fear that one bad performance could change everything.
Behind every jersey is a PERSON.
That person needs support, communication, trusted relationships, healthy coping strategies, and permission to speak when something does not feel right.
Mental toughness should never mean suffering in silence.
Parents of student-athletes must understand the importance of creating environments where their children can talk openly about stress, anxiety, disappointment, identity, confidence, and the emotional realities that accompany competitive sports.

The Sports Blueprint for Change challenges us to protect the PERSON before promoting the PLAYER.
This Weekly Address gives you another glimpse inside the book and another conversation every sports family should be having.

THE SPORTS BLUEPRINT FOR CHANGE — WEEK 2 = PILLAR II: FINANCIAL LITERACY

Talent can create opportunity.

But without financial knowledge, opportunity can disappear quickly.

This week’s Weekly Address focuses on Pillar II of The Sports Blueprint for Change: FINANCIAL LITERACY.

WATCH THE WEEKLY ADDRESS: https://youtu.be/CEd4uayQHT8

Today’s student-athletes and their families are entering a sports environment where money can arrive earlier than ever before.

NIL opportunities. Scholarships. Endorsements. Appearance fees. Social media income. Professional contracts. Business opportunities.

But earning money and understanding money are two completely different things.

Financial literacy is about learning how to protect what you earn, understand taxes, create budgets, evaluate contracts, build credit, save, invest, recognize financial risk, and begin thinking about long-term wealth before the first major check arrives.

For parents of student-athletes, these conversations should begin BEFORE the money comes.

Because financial decisions made at 16, 18, 21, or 25 years old can impact a family for decades.

The Sports Blueprint for Change was created to help families become more informed before making important decisions.

This Weekly Address gives you another glimpse inside the book and the conversations I believe every sports family should be having.

THE SPORTS BLUEPRINT FOR CHANGE — WEEK 0: THE OPENING STATEMENT

Before we talk about recruiting, NIL, college athletics, financial literacy, sports law, fatherhood, mental health, or life after the game, we have to ask one important question:

Are families truly being given the information they need to make the right decisions in sports?

Welcome to The Sports Blueprint for Change.

This Opening Statement begins the weekly video journey behind The Sports Blueprint for Change: Maine Prince Plan for America — a sports textbook created to educate, inform, protect, and empower parents of student-athletes and everyone connected to the business and culture of sports.

WATCH THE OPENING STATEMENT:
https://youtu.be/nEQAwJHl8ao

This message explains WHY I wrote the book, WHO it was written for, WHAT needs to change, and HOW the 14 Pillars can help families better understand the decisions that shape an athlete's future.

Sports can create education, opportunity, financial advancement, leadership, careers, and generational impact.

But opportunity without information can become vulnerability.

That is why this journey begins with education.

Each week, I will introduce another part of the Blueprint and challenge families to become more informed about what happens beyond the scoreboard.

Sometimes the most valuable gift you can give someone is information they didn't know they needed.

This is bigger than a book. It is a conversation, an educational movement, and a Blueprint for what sports can become when we put the person before the player.
