In a world that often tries to dim our light, this is a moment to laugh, dance, eat, connect, and be unapologetically Black out loud — in luxury, and in love.

When I thought about having this event, I knew this couldn’t be something I did alone. It takes a group of people, a collective of energy, to agree on something for it to really manifest. And that’s exactly what happened here.

I just want to thank everyone who made it real from all the beautiful guests who came out, to the vendors who poured their gifts into the night: @heartbeetjuicebar_ @chef__lamar_todd and @chloeejoness13 @shamara_divyne thank you guys for curating the vibe and setting the energy. To everyone who brought love, light, and a smile thank you.

I’d also like to thank the incredible artists who blessed us that night. The beautiful violinist @shiannrose you killed it. I’ve never been so blown away; your talent and spirit lit up the room. You’re talented, beautiful, kind, and you killed it. To my friend @jackie.the.poetic.therapist who poured her heart into poetry, thank you it was so beautiful. To @monicasoyemis who sung opera for us we all got chills chile ..is my life real?!😅 History was made!

Thank you to @_ninamari for stepping in to help, to my friends who gave me support and affirmed me, and to everybody who put up with my crazy behind on the mic.😅

This was such a good time, and I’m already looking forward to what’s next. My prayer is that this grows into something bigger than me, something that truly blesses people year after year.

Hey y’all, please excuse me I’m still on cloud nine. I just hosted my first event in the Hamptons under Nhandi Iman Entertainment 🥂 and it still feels so surreal.

I wanted to create a space where my people could party in luxury but not in a pretentious way, in a community type of way. When you think of luxury, there’s not just one way to be luxurious or excellent, and I don’t want that message to be misconstrued. The true luxury is showing up as yourself, owning who you are, and feeling powerful within our own people.

Within our community, we can uplift one another, network, and build something lasting and that’s why these events are so important, especially in these politically chaotic times. My intention was for everyone to feel good, connect, and be surrounded by love, laughter, and belonging.

I have so many thank-yous to give from every guest who showed up, to the incredible vendors, to our beautiful DJ. Anyone could have been anywhere in the world, and you chose to be here with me. I’m so grateful.
