To wake up to all your texts and messages was a shock! I did not get the email so it was a surprise to have you all tell me the good news! No one has welcomed me like cleveland’s scene. I want to thank all the fellow producers and drag queens for helping me and booking me when I went through some hardships this past year. You have embraced and welcomed me in a way I could never have anticipated or imagined. Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote! I feel speechless and also that I could thank you all forever.

TBH, I love that I got this title without having to even campaign for it. You all saw my art music performances and productions and gave me the recognition for my originality and commitment to myself and for my integrity through adversity. PLEASE DONATE TO @kycohio!

I am going to bed because the adrenaline rush of this awesome news really depleted me fast! Probably also this heat wave. I hope we all have the best summer ever I know I will! Come celebrate my win with me 8/8 at Dunlaps where I will be donning my crown and sash! Once again tbank you to everyone who voted this is an honor and also just friggin rad! Love love love and congrats to all the queens who made it top 10! THIS IS FOR ALL THE ARAB DRAG QUEENS! We did it!

“Princess Jafar is a celebrated performance artist and drag queen based in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland areas.

Known for blending camp, VJ-ing, and multimedia experimentation, they were voted the #1 Drag Queen of the Year by the Pittsburgh City Paper (2020-2023) and frequently perform as the horror host and “Queen of Weird” for Cleveland Scene.

Beyond her dynamic stage shows and albums like PRINCESS JAFAR, her artistic persona focuses on large-scale pop culture parodies and charity work, raising over $25,000 for queer artists of color.

Being cast as the king of the damned in @thebrecksvilletheatre’s production of Dracula has been life altering! I have changed so much during this process, I feel like a different performer. The cast and crew have been so inspiring and have challenged me to become a higher version of myself as a performer and artist. Please get your tickets to witness this phenomenal show. We have this weekend and the weekend of October 10th. It is truly phenomenal, and the audiences have been so giving and generous with their laughter and their shrieks and their gasps and their applause! I cannot think the director assistant stage manager stage manager, costumer props, set designer in my fellow actors enough! This is definitely the most challenging and rewarding process I have experienced thus far in my acting career. I feel fully changed, I feel so much more confident and proud of myself than ever before as an artist.

Love of mine, someday you will die. But, I’ll be close behind. I’ll follow you into the dark. No blinding light or tunnels to gaze of white. I’ll be close behind. I’ll follow you into the dark. If Heaven and Hell decide that they both are satisfied and illuminate the “no” on their vacancy sign. If there’s no one beside you when your soul embarks I’ll follow you into the dark.

Hear and obey, you have no will of your own. From now on, when I will you to do a thing it shall be done and I command you to come to @thebrecksvilletheatre’s production of Dracula the weekends of the 25th, the third and the tenth.
When you awake, you will not remember what I say, but you will carry out any suggestion that reaches you from my brain instantly, without question.
