The Moon’s gravity pulls on Earth’s oceans, creating bulges. As Earth spins, these bulges get a little ahead of the Moon, tugging it forward in its orbit and nudging it farther away just 1½ inches - 3.8 cm every year! ✨

Moonlight is actually sunlight, filtered through lunar dust. ✨
That soft glow we love is starlight, reflected.

We’ve been printing moons for over a decade 🌚🌝

But this year, there’s a new (very small) printing assistant, already covered in ink.

Each moon calendar begins as a series of hand-drawn moons, every phase drawn by hand with a brush pen, then turned into a screen for printing. Thank you @printclublondon 🤝

We print slowly, on our favourite papers. It’s not fast… but it’s always worth it. Moons for all :) 🌑🌓🌕

The Moon drifts about 3.8 cm farther from Earth every year.
In roughly 600 million years, total solar eclipses will no longer be possible.

Sometimes there’s little that feels better than sunlight dancing in motion, especially as the days shorten and the veil between worlds grows thin. 🌞 🌑 #moonlovers #samhain #fullmoon by @printed_moons

This one’s a beauty, bark brown paper with moons hand printed in a soft off-white ink. Feels a bit like moonlight on soil.
