The store’s original Comblanchien limestone flooring from 1938 was preserved as per Cristobal Balenciaga’s wishes.

The space featured custom furniture designed by Putman, including a bespoke Cordoba leather-clad trunk with gold brass studs.

Passementerie tassels with gold netting open the trunk’s red velvet-lined shelving.

The change room’s curtains were made in patternmaking canvas. Inside, a bronze sconce is mounted directly on a beveled mirror.
