What's on in Prishtina? Events, concerts, clubs, festivals, exhibitions. Plus where to eat, drink, and walk.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
30 events, three days, and two of them are for a good cause.

Friday opens on a cultured note: the National Gallery launches Body as an Archive, a book on performance art in postwar Kosovo, and the National Theatre is showing Bidermani dhe Zjarrëvënësit. Then the city goes live, with Erëza Çerkini at Retroverse, Dafina Bytyqi at The Old English Pub and Mjellma Berisha at Taverna Menata. Zone keeps both rooms busy until late.

Saturday is Pink October at Zone. Anitë Invites brings Anthea and Dana Ruh to the main room, and all ticket proceeds go to women affected by breast cancer. Earlier, Fiasco from Düsseldorf and KA-FE from Albania bring punk and psych to Retroverse, while Jazz Nights at e.dh.e has the Armend Xhaferi Trio, free entry.

Sunday is for slowing down: Lëviz me Bardhën brings yoga to the Palace of Youth at noon for Pink October, free entry, and Bidermani dhe Zjarrëvënësit plays its third night at the National Theatre. by @prishtinanow

32 reasons to leave the house. Pick a few.

Friday has a little bit of everything, and no interest in letting you stay home. The International Photography Festival brings the exhibition "Kronologjia e Lirisë" to Barabar Centre, Komikos gathers the city's comics enthusiasts at Storylab, and GameHer is hosting a workshop and game jam at Klan Arena. Meanwhile, Prishtina Mall kicks off a three-day Street Fest with all kinds of activities and performances throughout the weekend. If you're in the mood to spend your Friday underground, you've got options: Housequake are bringing rock ’n’ roll to Defy Them, while Zanzi is officially back with their Funk Off Sessions and DJ Lynx. Elsewhere, there's live music and DJ sets across town, and Zone Club is officially opening its winter season. Summer may be over, but apparently the party isn't.

Saturday offers a little culture before we get back to our usual business. The Kosovo Philharmonic returns with a musical homage to Mother Teresa, while the National Gallery opens its October with Xhevdet Xhafa's Still Running exhibition. For the evening, Cerejacasual comes all the way from Brazil to KOLEKTIV, and Ereza Çerkini & Band take the stage at Zanzi Jazz Bar. Plenty of music to go around, and Zone and Gate Club continue their tireless commitment to keeping Prishtina out past its bedtime.

Apparently, Prishtina has collectively agreed to take Sunday off. Almost. Termokiss is hosting its monthly flea market, with vintage clothes, jewelry, books, handmade treasures and all sorts of things you didn't know you needed until you saw them. There'll be music, coffee, good company and, with any luck, a little sunshine. StoryLab is hosting a crocheting workshop for anyone looking to pick up a new hobby. by @prishtinanow

Prishtina from Friday to Sunday — culture, music, tech, rooftops, after-hours and a few reasons to cancel your quiet weekend. Swipe for the plan.

Friday is doing a lot, in a good way: Varg e Vi brings stand-up, books and an exhibition to Lavjerr’s, Romeo and Juliette gets its third showing — we saw it, we loved it, consider this your nudge. KSci-Fi Video Klub marks 35 years of Terminator 2 at StoryLab. Later: Carmelo Casti at Lily’s, TREDIOT at Retroverse, Aldonna at e.dh.e, plus cool events at Bubble Pub and Noya.

It's also a good time for our late nighters, with events happening at Juliet of the Spirits, Zanzi, and of course Zone and Gate Club after-hours.

Reserve your Saturday for SFK: Kosovo’s open-source conference is back for its 11th edition with talks, too many workshops to count them all here, the country’s first FPV drone race and, naturally, a lockpicking village. For some culture, the Philharmonic Choir performs at Kisha Katolike “Shën Ndou”. Then the SFK crowd keeps things going after dark, with Lazy Bear, Timo Hoogland and Pandaudio taking over Red Hall. Lily's loves a weekend so of course they have secured some good music for your Satudray as well. Noya and Ember invite you to their rooftops, and if you wanna go even more panoramic, e.dh.e has jazz (bring a jacket). If you prefer your music indoors and without a jacket, Juliet of the Spirits has a cool lineup for you - but, don't go too early. Finally, Gate and Zone handle the after-hours, with Senegal’s GAWDX joining Prishtina's Gimbo at Zone.

Sundays are usually pretty quiet for music, but this one gets an exception: Zanzi is celebrating an important anniversary as part of Prishtina nightlife, they have planned a jam session, surprise DJs and a special session for after-hours. Before that, Litari is on at the National Theatre, SFK wraps with Meet Glitchy, and the Neptun CS2 Champions LAN Finals are at CineStar. Not a bad excuse to stretch the weekend by one more night. by @prishtinanow

44 events. Three days. Good luck!

This Friday Prishtina has events galore. FemArt, Kino Armata, the National Gallery, and the Philharmonic are all doing their part to make sure your Friday begins on a cultured note. Then, naturally, we abandon culture for nightlife: MINIMIM at Soma Book Station feels like the correct place to begin the evening, or make your way through the city’s bars. If you're still not ready to go home after the music stops in the city, head to Zone Club for after hours.

FemArt continues into Saturday with workshops, discussions, and theatre across the city, for anyone committed to having a culturally productive weekend. There’s plenty of music around town once the evening gets going, and the clubs are, as always, a reliable Saturday night decision. For something a little different, Potpuri Gazeta is launching Gazeta 04 — go to tat's for the launch, stay for good drinks and music.

Wrap up your weekend with something wholesome. FemArt continues with book promotions, theatre, and film, while PRN Urban Walks is taking World Tourism Day as an excuse to rediscover Prishtina on foot — including a free guided walk, a special edition of Prishtina Sketch Club, and an evening gathering with local food, drinks, and DJ. Good luck deciding where to be. If your preferred form of Sunday therapy involves carbohydrates, Midsummer Lab is hosting a pasta-making class at Hotel Graçanica. by @prishtinanow

40 events, one weekend, good luck choosing!

Big Friday for DAM Festival closing out their 20th edition. If you'd rather look at stars, head to Kukaj Village for the Astro-Camp.

Start at Kisha Shën Ndou with Orkestra Prishtina, end wherever the DJs take you after dark.

After a summer of tribute sets, Shpat Deda closes it out at e.dh.e with his own music. Yoga's on earlier in the day if you want something calmer first. by @prishtinanow

Who said summer is over?

Friday has range. Start your afternoon with culture: Sustainable Design Week's conference at Kino Armata or Queer Fest's exhibition at Hajde Foundation. The kids have plans of Friday too: take your little ones to Pallati i Rinisë for a selection of short films for children. By nightfall, there's a DJ set on the Grand Hotel terrace, drag show at Bubble, and music basically everywhere else.

Friday has a second shift. The responsible Friday activity: learn about cybersecurity. The less responsible one: everything after that. Queer Fest heads to e.dh.e for its afterparty, with clubs across the city also doing their best to ruin Saturday morning.

Queer Fest is in full force on Saturday. Kino Armata gets a panel, a screening of an Academy Award winning short, and the premiere of To The Boy I Was, while Choke Hole brings eight wrestlers to the Burnt Hall.

Saturday night has a headliner, and it's Milk Snatchers at Miqt Pub. If you want to do something wholesome, you can go do yoga at e.dh.e with a view of Prishtina, or stop by Pazari i Hapun at Termokiss.

Both festivals take their final bow on Sunday. Catch Queer Fest's International Film Programme at Kino Armata followed by a street party and flea market at Kafet e Rakisë, or see Sustainable Design Week out with New Beginnings. by @prishtinanow

Two festivals are taking over Prishtina this weekend. Meeting of Styles has graffiti and live painting by day, music performances by night, while HAPU brings art into public space. See you around the city.

Friday has plenty to pick from. For culture, we’d definitely make a stop at Kino Armata for the premiere of Videozina Armata e Lirë. Feel like leaving the city centre for the night? Head to e.dh.e for Jazz Nights Outdoors; if you’d rather stay central, there’s Xhuratonin at Bubble or Visar Dema at Lily’s. And if the night keeps going, you’ve got two raves to choose from.

Saturday offers a bit of everything. You can catch a basketball game and performances by Prishtina’s own Elinel and Lluni at Klan Arena. Or you can spend your night in Lily’s garden with music by Toske. If you want to keep the night going, head to Zone Electronic after hours.

Sunday brings both festivals to a close. HAPU wraps up its final day across the city, and Meeting of Styles ends the weekend with Bass & Reggae Night - a solid last stop before Monday comes back around. by @prishtinanow

Your only problem this weekend should be deciding which events to catch

Friday is a choose-your-own-adventure: DAM Fest if you’re feeling cultured, Kissmet n’Maje if you’re more of a rave type.

Saturday, start with the stand up at Miqt Pub and see where the city takes you.

Sunday: Telikput takes over e.dh.e with their new album “Kangë Që S’kom Qef Mi Ni”, and guest performances from Milk Snatchers and Ksenark. by @prishtinanow

Prishtina is hot this weekend, literally and figuratively. Swipe to see all the events

If you still don’t know what to do this Friday. Kushtrim Balaj is on at Soma Book Station and he’s bringing the funk, ZWADA plays live at Retroverse, and Qef n’Lagje moves the block party to Ulpiana at Bunkerat. No excuses.

Saturday is Zone night. Hajdar Berisha in Electronic, Buta in the Club. And don’t miss DokuNights closing out its final night.

Cure the hangover on Sunday. Kayak Fest is still running at Batllavë, and the lake will do more for you than any coffee could. by @prishtinanow
