Angela here. The Governor of Kentucky closing salons by Wednesday at 5.
I had already canceled my books this week, and next. Honestly y’all I am happy about this. All last week as I tried to clean up more between clients I just thought there’s no way I am this close to people and this is fine. This is a highly contagious virus that none of us have an immunity to. So slowing it down is the best defense we have to literally save lives. So not working right now, is something that actually impacts society in a huge HUGE • HUGE • way. Which is hard to wrap my brain around.
So I worried and worried and worried about should I close? shouldn’t I close? Should I ? shouldn’t I? Also what to do about my coworkers? Should I close and force them not to work? That is wrong. Is that wrong? And so I worried and worried and worried. Knowing all weekend I felt that it was ethically wrong to keep my salon open, but what to do? How can I stay open if I don’t work? What can I do? Will my renters, who I deeply appreciate, will they still want to work with me if I close the shop early? Y’all I have been sweating this so incredibly hard. But now here we are. I am grateful. The decision is made. None of this is forever, we absolutely will make it though this.

Angela here! I can’t begin to describe what @fatedglory15 means to me. He has been a wonderful client, and friend for ✨ years ✨ he is also Prism Salons lawn care specialist. When a client that brightens my day every single time I see them, has to move it can be rough. When I heard Andrew got a job at #nasa (! DAMN !) I was literally blown away. So proud! He has worked so hard for his degree in Astrophysics and most recently going back to school for Electrical Engineering. His hard work is paying off. But GEEZ where we gonna find an qualified lawn care specialist who also is a scientist?!?! 🙃👻🙂🙃🐇🙃 kidding. I was extra happy his assignment w nasa is only 5 months.
