Pinning this here because the day I looked up and saw this rainbow cloud sitting beneath our nearest and dearest star light, it sparked my heart.

I’d been thinking about making a cozy place on the interwebs where I could share my adventures of being on the spectrum, and stuff that sparkles. Even when I feel sick, depressed, or afraid, I want to challenge those moments by exploring new ways to coexist in them.

I’m also inspired by so many people who bravely share their experiences, and I can’t imagine this world without them. And maybe sharing my own could help someone else see they aren’t the only one experiencing things that we can quite often be told is rare or complex. I think it just hasn’t been talked about a lot.

So let’s talk about it. Being on the spectrum, art, health, spirit, we’re multifaceted. Let’s explore why’s, surf waves of thought and every color of the rainbow. Pondering. Our world is full of edges and prisms,
But when neurodivergent, the light shines through our eyes and hovers close to details, hidden patterns, a puzzle of rainbows.
While it seems the standard for everyone else is to hold the light far away.

A story from over 2000 years ago, where a man who did unbelievable things, named Yeshua, rose from a tomb and offered eternal living by belief. Belief in a love that never fades, and carries a way of peace we must believe to see.

Luke 24🌅On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ” 8 Then they remembered his words.

9 When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others. 10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles. 11 But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense. 12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.

🐰Random moment: Saw this beautiful mural tonight on the ceiling of a Moon named restaurant and it was hard not to stare. I’ve been in an episode of my life that has been extremely challenging, chronic illness flaring, and much life stuff feels up in the air. At times I kinda wanna run away to the moon like that little bun. Overwhelm, not just whelmed, over whelmed. Whelmed means buried, overwhelm means buried even more. And boy was I feeling it today. Being on the spectrum, things can feel even heavier, and it’s pretty difficult processing the emotions of it. Observing simple moments can help in between fighting through the big ones. Today’s clouds were adorable, and were spittin rain as hard as they could, but it just wasn’t reaching the ground. The hottest part of a flame is blue and purple, and this is the year of the fire horse. I thought it fitting to have the core of the horse be blue with some red in the mane. It’s supposedly a symbol of passion, change, and transformation, and a flame exposing falsehoods and revealing truth. Everything we need this year. But I also find horses themselves, carriers of courage, strength, a wild spirit, insight, perseverance and freedom. I’ve heard stars are suns bajillions of miles away, and by the time we see their light we’re getting a sight from the past. But we still expect to see them sparkle in their coincidental patterns in the sky. I think Renee Good and Alex Pretti are kind of like shining stars that will send their light through time. Heroes. In a very dark space.

I can’t imagine what’s happening where we can’t see. Where cameras aren’t allowed. How disgustingly the supremacists of the day are treating people they have taken with methods against our nations laws once created for justice and equality for all. Children, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, people that do not deserve this. No one deserves abuse. Period. And they should never be treated inhumanely because of the color of their skin, country of origin, or immigrating like millions of Americans have before. Or for defending these most vulnerable of humans.

There is such a fight ahead of us, but I pray God helps every single soul in this because this war is wretched. I dream of real peace. Not a lie with the word peace painted over propaganda and oppression. #reneegood #alexjeffreypretti #america #2026
