We had the absolute honor to represent the USA at the 2023 K-Pop Cover Dance Festival in Korea for the second year in a row! We are so excited to announce that we are one of three 1st placing teams alongside Team Korea @4x4_hrm_official and Team Indonesia @_exquisite.dc !🥇

We are so grateful to be able to enjoy this incredible trip again this year! Huge thank you to @moonpd1905 @abdula0205 @hikkangzgz @h._.joo__ and all of the KCDF staff! Your hard work and passion made the whole trip so amazing! Thank you for showing us the beauty of Korean culture and being so hospitable! 🇰🇷

By far the best part of our experience was meeting new and old friends from all over the world! Your friendship and love mean so much to us and we'll never forget those moments we spent together. ❤ 🫂

Even with language differences, our love for K-Pop and dance united us. We'll always remember to #keepdancing. We love you all, and let’s meet again in Korea one day! (OR… Come visit us in Chicago, USA???? 😉)

A dream that started miles away… brought them all the way to Korea. 🇺🇸✈️🇰🇷

From the U.S. preliminary rounds, to the finals, to countless hours of practice, these dancers carried one dream with them — to stand on a K-POP stage in Korea.

And today, that dream became real. ✨

Before the final results were announced, our judges shared their final words with the dancers — words that reminded us that this journey was about so much more than winning.

It was about courage, growth, friendship and the power of K-POP to connect people across cultures, languages, and countries.

And then came the moment we had all been waiting for… 🏆

🥇 1st Place — @prismkru
🥈 2nd Place — @unit21official
🥉 3rd Place — @mkeme.crew

Congratulations to our winners and to every finalist who brought their passion, talent, and dreams all the way from the U.S. to Gangnam, Seoul 🇰🇷

You made it to Korea.
You stood on this stage.
You made the dream real. ❤️

This is not the end of the journey.
It’s the beginning of something bigger.

Global K-POP Cover Dance Championship — Korea Final 🇰🇷 Thanks Judges

More than a decade ago, six dancers came together through an EXO flashmob and a shared love of K-pop. That connection became @prismkru

Founded in 2013, the group has spent the years since developing an approach to performance that goes beyond learning choreography. Its members study the dance foundations behind K-pop movement, paying attention to where each style comes from and how that knowledge changes the way a performance is built.

What has endured alongside the dancing is the community itself. New members have joined, the team has expanded, and Prism Kru continues to create around the same ideas that brought its founders together: shared taste, creative discipline, and the experience of performing with people who understand the same language of movement.

More than ten years on, Prism Kru is still in motion — refining its craft, supporting the ambitions of its members, and building connections between K-pop, dance, and the communities that surround them.
