Some of my favourite early @submotionorchestra shows were at the @boileroom in Guildford (including one where all the power went down, leaving me and @rubywoodmusic to do the encore by ourselves). So it will be a real pleasure to return there with the @prismstringensemble for a solo show on September 25. It’s one of the UK’s best grassroots venues and I’m really looking forward to it.

Last week we had the immense honour of performing at the event that marked the Report Presentation of the Infected Blood Inquiry at Westminster Central Hall, with a concert for the affected and infected.

We performed alongside singers from St Botolph’s Church with their MD Iestyn Evans and exceptional instrumentalists - pianist @barnyjones and string quartet @prismstringensemble - as part of a programme including powerful readings, testimonials and films.

Thank you to all our singers, our soloists @firebirdproject & @lydiaclowes, our Musical Director & Arranger @megellamusic and the event Director Art Lewry & the inquiry for putting their trust in us.

An exceptional privilege to perform for that room and to be part of marking such a historic moment. A powerful and emotional day that will stay with us.
