We got the call at 4pm Sunday. By 7am Monday, we were onsite @davidlloydmanchestertrafford and getting stuck in.

Turns out, removing hardened paint from a padel court isn’t quite as simple as “giving it a clean.” Who knew? 😅

The next four days were spent largely on our hands and knees, picking paint out of the turf fibre by fibre, even through the rain, which turned it almost into a paste. We soon learnt to cover it and keep it dry from there.

80+ combined hours later, the court was cleaned, re-sanded, brushed and back open for play by Thursday evening.

Not the most glamorous side of court maintenance, but definitely one of the most satisfying transformations we’ve completed so far.

Swipe to see what we started with and how we left it. 🎾
