While the KKR in me is still hoping for that first win, my Thala paaglu husband is keeping his eyes on that bus!

The adjectives my husband compliments me with- beautiful, elegant, powerful, graceful...

What he actually relates to when he says so-
beautiful as Kohli's cover drive
elegant as Sachin's straight drive
powerful as Dhoni's helicopter shot
graceful as Rohit's pull shot 🏏🫶

Never ever wear a colour that is not yellow if you are in MA Chidambaram stadium for an IPL match.
Please note - Never.

sometime when you don't plan your days, you tend to get the most out of it...
just like those days, there are moments when you simply feel like living just the way it is...

this time Gokarna gave me those moments, those precious time spent with nature and him..
that rolling sound satiating to soul, a place or two to eat that felt like home, a scooter, some path filled with darkness and that surreal feeling of being loved..

and as he says 'this is it' !

An ode to a Bruschetta

Its a loaf at first sight,
with veggies dressed to impress — thousand islands, one plate; balls rolling in with a crispy attitude,
wedged between golden 'tatoes and applesolutely sweet bites..

Here's a 🥂to breadwinner of Saturday pleasures..
