One of the pioneering theatre pieces in India feat. street dance styles , this was a magical day and a labour of love via my dance production house @move.curious.

@move.curious presents - “The circle is”

An Experimental Dance Film, directed and produced by Priya Lisa Gonsalves, made to accompany her All Female Street Dance Live Theatre Show via projection, and the actual dance clips of the live show have been added to the film.

The clips of the live dance are from the Premiere Show from 2025 in Mumbai. The film is 30 minutes long and features 5 prominent female dancers from Street Dance India, namely Ambarin Kadri, Sri Lakshmi Muralidharan, Tejasvi Patil, Priya Lisa Gonsalves and Mekhola Bose. The film is in black and white and is an homage to “ the circle” in Street dance as well as the symbolism of the circle universally. It answers the question of why we dance and what the circle signifies. It is a labour of love and self funded, produced and directed. It is one of two properties - one being a live show and the other the film.

Anyone who knows me knows i love coffee shops and bars with yummy cocktails.

Been trying out diff cafés and here are few I went to recently and some thoughts. Deciding not to take myself too seriously and have fun on Instagram !

Subko
What i like - the coffee is light and generous, interiors are pretty.
What’s missing - would love to feel a bit like i was outdoors considering it’s such a beautiful old property.

Suzette -
What i like - my fav coffee/ same as kitchen garden. Super light and doesn’t ever give you the jitters and yummy.
What’s missing - the location unfortunately doesn’t help the ambience because of the cold storage.

Kitchen garden - my fav

The deli -
What i like - natural light is amazing feels like you are outdoors.
What’s missing - found coffee quite strong and it’s relatively empty.

The village cafe
What i like - very nice interiors and behind a nursery so lots of green.
What’s missing - a bit hidden and find coffee too strong for me.

Scarlett house
What i like - coffee was nice and well priced very cute feminine decor
It’s not really a dedicated coffee shop so maybe people would shy away from getting a coffee there but everyone was very nice.

Araku
What i like - the staff was super helpful, one of the staff even explained to me how to use my coffee machine.
What’s missing - location too crowded outside and inside the space is a bit architecturally limited so can feel cramped.

These are just my personal opinions , all these places were overall very nice :) by @priyalisa

Making some makeup info posts about brands available here.
Some foundations I have and tried and tested information about them if you want to experiment.
In the high range - Armani is my fav formula
Affordable - kiko is my fav formula
Skin colour Match - nars and huda
Coverage - huda , Bobby brown, Laura mercier and nars in this order.
Everyday - kiko, Sephora
Light - elf, charlotte and L’Oréal.
My favs - kiko, Armani, nars and easy blur all for diff reasons.
High end prices - Armani Laura mercier , Bobbi brown Nars and charlotte tilbury
