Gratitude Challenge Day 5: Mom has always been my rock, but these last 14yrs she's at every doctors appt, scan, infusion, ambulance ride, spinal tap, she hates seeing me in pain so I can't imagine how hard it's been for her but she's been a soldier by my side. Even when I tell her she doesn't have to accompany me she insists. So when I say be your own advocate I mean it but it's also great to have a bullhorn sidekick to make sure you're being treated well #ChronicIllnessWarrior by @prjade

Gratitude Challenge Day 3: I'm grateful for my team of doctors at Weill Cornell who have taken great care of me the last decade. Having a chronic illness is not easy but they have tried everything and I give them credit for that. I even just did a clinical trial, even though the drug didn't work at least I tried it. #chronicillnesswarrior by @prjade
