How to achieve frizz-free curls without losing the curl ✨
This is our Defrizz Only protocol. It’s the same smoothing system, with a different finish at the flat iron. Save this for your next curly client.

1️⃣ Wash with ProAddiction Hydrating Shampoo (Clarifying Shampoo only for virgin hair, levels 1–5)
2️⃣ Apply to 100% DRY hair. Rough-dry or blow-dry until no moisture is left. Apply the ProAddiction Multi-Protein Straightening System section by section, with full, even saturation. Process for 45 min, or up to 1 hr for very resistant hair.
3️⃣ Rinse 100% with warm water, so no product is left behind.
4️⃣ Blow-dry until 100% dry, smooth and sleek, with a metal or ceramic brush.
5️⃣ The key step: flat iron. Everything up to here is the same for every finish. The iron decides how straight the hair goes. For curl retention: LOW heat, 360–380°F (180–190°C), and only 2–4 quick passes per section. You’re sealing the proteins into the cuticle to lock out humidity, not pressing the curl straight.
6️⃣ Rinse and apply the ProAddiction Hydrating Mask for 10 min to restore the hair’s natural pH. Rinse thoroughly, then style wet: diffuse or air-dry.
The result: soft, defined curls with the frizz gone 💜

DO’S:
- Dilute your formula: Mix a 70/30 ratio (70% Purple to 30% White formula) to prevent the purple from reacting too strongly.
- Control your heat: Dial down the flat iron temperature during thermal processing.
- Maintain: Recommend using a purple shampoo or applying a violet/blue toning gloss afterward to keep that cool tone poppin’.

DON’TS:
- Never use pure purple on pale/platinum: Avoid using the Purple formula straight out of the bottle on pale blonde or platinum hair.
