My reel about 9/11 reached almost 100,000 views.

But beyond the number, it made me think about why stories like this still move us so deeply.

These are just a few of the comments I received—and they reminded me that, even after all these years, this is something we still carry with us.

9/11 taught us that life can change in a moment.

It taught us the value of the people standing beside us.

It taught us that courage can look like running toward danger to save someone else.

It taught us that grief can cross every border, culture, and background.

And perhaps most importantly, it reminded us that behind every statistic is a person—a parent, a child, a friend, someone who was loved.

More than two decades later, we remember not only what happened, but the humanity that emerged in the moments that followed.

May we never forget.
May we never stop learning.
