Approaching Menopause?? Here’s the advice I give my clients… ✍🏽

Menopause isn’t just about hormones. It’s a whole-body shift, and our gut plays a far greater role than most people realise.

As oestrogen levels change, so too does the gut microbiome.

And that influences everything from digestion and bloating, to energy, mood and inflammation — because the gut is closely involved in how oestrogen is metabolised within the body.

That’s why when I support women through perimenopause and menopause, my approach is always twofold:

1. THE RIGHT NUTRITION
Protein, fibre, healthy fats, and plant diversity - to support blood sugar, hormones, and gut health

2. THE RIGHT GUT HEALTH SUPPORT
A well-formulated probiotic can be a powerful addition alongside healthy eating — and @probio7 fits in perfectly.

I’ve been taking and recommending their probiotics for over 5 years!

Their new menopause-specific formula is designed to support the gut–hormone connection during this phase of life, combining targeted strains of live bacteria with nutrients including vitamin D, B6 and folate to support hormone balance, energy and overall wellbeing.

My approach is always simple…

A healthy, balanced diet 🥗🌯🥑🍠🍫 supported by smart, science-led supplementation.

That’s where the real magic happens! ✨

If you’re navigating this often challenging phase and things feel a little “off” — low energy, unsettled digestion, not quite yourself — please know you’re not alone, and there is so much you can do to support your body properly.

4 strains. Studied together. One simple winter routine. 💚

When it comes to live bacteria, research on the specific blend matters. The 4 strains in AB21 have been studied together in placebo-controlled clinical trials involving adults and children:

🔬 Adults: A study of 300 adults aged 18–60 with mild to moderate COVID-19 found that those taking the AB21 blend experienced symptoms for around 5 fewer days than the placebo group.¹

🔬 Children: A separate study involving 75 children aged 6 months to 5 years with viral pharyngitis found significantly fewer days with fever, pain and discomfort in the AB21 group compared with placebo.²

Targeted Immunity combines this researched blend with vitamin D, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Suitable for adults and children aged 2+, with one capsule daily. For little ones who can’t swallow capsules, simply open and mix into cold food or a cold drink.

✨ Menopause Friendly Meals ✨

Nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated, sometimes its as simple as beans on toast 🤌🏼

This meal is super high in fibre, so if you’re looking to gradually increase your fibre you can use half a tin of beans instead of a full one and still reap all the benefits!

🫘 Having meals packed full of fibre & protein help to slow your digestion and provide steady energy across the day.

🍫This can help to reduce intense sugar cravings after and in between meals and keep you from picking at those high sugar snacks (which, can make your menopause symptoms feel even worse!)

So, next time you want something simple and nutritious after work, give some homemade beans on toast a try!

84 minutes more sleep? You have our attention. 🍒💤

When menopause has you wide awake at 3am, it’s easy to see why tart cherry juice is getting attention.

1 pilot study found that adults over 50 with insomnia slept 84 minutes longer with tart cherry juice than with a placebo. They drank 240ml twice daily for two weeks.

Save this for a closer look at the science behind the sleepy girl trend💚
