There are many tools in the DJI Ronin 2 ecosystem. Each of them with their own strengths. The Force Pro is a great tool for achieving shots that the Master Wheels and DJI Joystick may not be suited for. The Ronin 2 replicates the movements from the Force Pro which can create a more organic feel utilizing the roll, pan, and tilt. You can also mount it on a helmet to replicate POV. When mounting the Ronin 2 onto an isolator like the @flowcine Black Arm, always make sure the battery block is pointed the same way as your lens. This extra weight helps to balance the weight distribution of the gimbal on the flowcine tranquiler or other notion mounts. taken in Los Angeles, California by @proclasstraining

One of our favorite things about the Ronin 2 is its power distribution. Here @dave.anglin is talking about using the power hub with its LEMO connectors to power your camera and accessories. This is only possible because of DJI's powerful TB-50s. These are not only used to power the Ronin 2 but also other tools like the master wheels and are even used on the inspire 2! taken in Los Angeles, California by @proclasstraining

Gimbal operating is not for the faint of heart. However, with the proper support system, footwork, posture, and a few additional tips it can become more manageable. There are many Ronin 2 accessories and knowing all of their purposes will make you far more valuable on set.

The DJI Motion Block helps prevent tail wobble on heavier builds and can make the gimbal more stable when traveling at high speeds. This is extremely important when flying the Ronin 2 perpendicular to the direction you are traveling because this adds additional stress to the pan axis.

We cover a lot of information and tools in the class but one tool that always seems to get forgotten about is the dji joystick. The joystick not only comes with the Ronin 2 but it’s a great tool for when your in a pinch and need to wirelessly control the R2. It pairs easily has a great wireless signal and holds a charge that will last all day. It’s a great piece of gear to use inside of vehicles or in remote locations where you can’t take wheels or where force pro isn’t the right tool!
