If your melody got bounce, you should be able to feel the drums before they even come in 🎸

I try to make sure the rhythm is already built into the melody. Even with just an acoustic guitar, you should be able to nod your head and feel where the drums are supposed to land.

The drums don’t create the bounce… they bring out what’s already there.
