produce anywhere. i made a tiny mac app for producing with airpods max on the go. it’s called APM44 Bridge.
basically: airpods max usb-c want to run at 48khz, but most of my sessions are 44.1khz and i don’t wanna change my whole project just because my headphones are being dramatic.
so this app lets your daw stay at 44.1khz and sends the audio to the airpods in the background.
i’m still new to coding and only tested this on my two macs, so i’m posting it for free and very much in „hope this helps someone“ mode.
if you run into problems installing it, text me with screenshots and i might be able to help
Also this is opensource with the full code under the same link feel free to do whatever you want with this: https://github.com/Niko96-dotcom/apm44-bridge by @prodbynyko

On our writing trip to Stockholm earlier this year, we wrote a song on day one that felt so special, we just had to finish the demo ASAP. We booked a studio for Saturday, only to find out they had no screen for my Mac Studio. After a quick run to a nearby electronics store, I grabbed one and powered through. Thankfully, I could return it a few days later lol Never been so happy I went the extra mile for a song. What a blast making this one with @prodbyoshi @moalisamusic @adamvonmentzer And special thanks for the behind the scenes work @wastedtalentberlin @theverygoodmusic @wepublishmusic @thisisbjoern @emyrosiii @tazurbea @pablotothemax taken in Stockholm, Sweden by @prodbynyko
