The Music Modernization Act (MMA) is a major reform of music copyright law in the United States, aimed at modernizing and streamlining the music licensing process, improving royalty payments to artists, and addressing various other issues related to music copyright. As an artist, it’s important to understand how the MMA can benefit you and how you can take advantage of its provisions to maximize your revenue and protect your rights.

Here are some ways you can do that:

1. Register with the Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC)

2. Ensure that your works are properly registered

3. Take advantage of the new pre-1972 copyright protection

4. Consider joining a rights organization

5. Stay informed about developments in music copyright law

If you’re an artist looking to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the Music Modernization Act, navigating the complexities of music copyright law can be a daunting task. THookz Productions can help you navigate this landscape and maximize your music earnings. Contact us today to learn more about how we can assist you in achieving your goals.
